Great place

This was the perfect place for us. Loved having the canal in the back yard where we could put our boat, fish whenever we wanted. House was very nice and was a perfect place for our family. I would stay here again for sure.

Family stay

We loved staying at the house for our trip! It was clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect. We traveled with young kids and they had a blast. There was a paddle board as well as a kayak, and the community offered a beach along the sound and a playground. The host Megan was always polite and quick to respond. We’d definitely stay again!

The property was a good location and nice neighborhood. The house was adequate with great supplies. Easy check-in. Living room furniture was slightly outdated and needed a good cleaning. But overall house was great.

Family friendly

The house had everything we needed and our children loved it. We enjoyed the dock and the hammock. The kids felt right at home and kept asking if we could move in. That being said, the sofas were so dirty I didn’t want to sit on them. Neighbor was kind but a little too friendly for my liking. I’ve never had to put the linens on my bed at a rental property so that was new but at least they were provided. If you really look at the listing photos you can tell the quality of the property but again it did have everything we needed and as reviews have stated before the house was “fine”.

Really enjoyed our stay

The house was great and the neighbor extremely nice and helpful. The owners too were very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen could use a frying pan and I purchased and left behind a measuring cup, but otherwise we loved everything.

Relaxing stay at OBX

We arrived at Colington Harbour and checked in at security gate, super easy check in. The property was just like the pictures online and we were immediately greeted by the neighbors. The place was quiet and easy to find. We spent the next few days sightseeing, shopping and eating. We also spent a lot of time just chilling at the cottage, watching the boats go by. We had a slight issue with AC on the last day but the owners immediately had someone come and check it out and stayed in contact with me the entire time. They also had the neighbors come over and check in us. We couldn't have asked for nicer people and would definitely love to stay again. Nice place!

Nice view from Porth

This was a nice property on Collington Island in Kitty Hawk and has a nice view of a canal/water. Also, the house has good character and amenities and you can tell that the owners actually stay here and are not treating this as a 100% rental investment. Really liked the book selection from the library and nice guides for things to do on OBX. Would recommend

Nice Canal-front Home

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at this comfortable home. It is located in a gated community with 24 hour security. It is about 5 miles from the main beach highway, but it’s so quiet there. If you’re looking to relax for a few days, this is a good place. Plenty of room to spread out. Comfy furniture, lots of bedding choices. Clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Screened porch, open porches on ground level and 2nd floor. Gas grill. Dock. As disclosed on listing, not for people with mobility issues, due to stairs. Overall, a great place. Thx

Fabulous location and well appointed house

Great house

Very spacious and clean. 8 minutes away from the nearest beach, a lot of beds. Blackout curtains should've been nice in the bedrooms. Overall great, the kids loved it.
