Welcome to Rock Pond Condo 83, a cozy ski-in/ski-out retreat located right on Saddleback Mountain. Whether you're here for a weekend on the slopes or a relaxing mountain getaway, this condo offers the perfect home base with unbeatable access to the ski area and beautiful alpine surroundings.

Inside, you'll find a warm and inviting living space featuring a wood-burning fireplace, Smart TV, and a selection of books and games—ideal for unwinding after a day of skiing or enjoying a quiet evening in. Large windows showcase lovely mountain views, bringing the beauty of Saddleback right into the living room.

One of the best features of Rock Pond Condo 83 is its easy ski access. Step outside and you're just moments from the trails, making first tracks in the morning and ski-back afternoons effortless and stress-free. It's a comfortable, well-appointed space designed for making the most of your time on the mountain.

Sleeping Arrangements: First Bedroom Main Floor Queen, Second Bedroom Lower Level Queen, Third Bedroom Lower Level Two Twins. Sleeps up to 6 guests.

Location: Just above the Saddleback area base lodge with trail access. 8.0 miles to downtown Rangeley, 15.0 miles to downtown Oquossoc.

FAQs: Two vehicles only- park in front of the condo unit! Additional vehicles can park at one of the public lots near the Base Lodge.

Ski-In/Ski-Out: Early ski season at Saddleback can offer incredible ski-in/ski-out convenience, but trail access does depend on natural snow coverage and current mountain conditions. Some condos may have true slopeside access right from opening day, while others become ski-in/ski-out as the snowpack builds. If you're unsure which properties will work best for your dates, our reservationists are happy to help—just give us an email or call and we'll guide you to the perfect condo for your stay.

Next time we'll stay longer

Morton & Furbish reps were available, helpful, accommodating. Rock Pond 83 was a great unit--perfect layout for oldsters (main floor BR) and college age crew with friends (lower floor). We loved the wood-burning fireplace, the view, and the well-equipped kitchen. It took us a day to figure out the trail(s) for ski in/ski out access (duh), but even before we completely had the lay of the land we wished we were staying longer. Great rental, fully recommend.

Great Vacation Week at Saddleback!

Wow, great place to spend time with family and friends. Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked! Saddleback was rocking with great events for the whole vacation week! We will be back!

Delightful condo with stunning mountain views.

Very well laid out and comfortable condo with amazing views of the mountains. It is about 15 minutes out of Rangley, but the views are worth the drive. The kitchen is nicely supplied with pots, pans, utensils, and a few herbs and spices. The oil heating system is a bit loud for the downstairs bedrooms but we still slept okay without earplugs.A few minor improvements would be to address a couple of wobbly dining chairs, replace the toilet plunger with one that works, and provide a means to play music through speakers. Would definitely stay here again. Two thumbs up!

Rest, relax and reconnect

This property is wonderful! Pictures and description are exactly as stated. Couldn't have asked for a more easier check in and check out process. For a family of four we had more than enough room at this property. We can not wait to stay again! The views, trails, falls and parks were amazing all around the property area. Now we see why Maine is known for "Vacationland"!

Fun Stay at Rock Pond Condo 83

Our family of 5 had a great time staying at Saddleback! We got there in time for a tasty pizza dinner at Furbish Brew house and then had a fun time skiing Saddleback for the first time on Saturday. It was nice to have ski in/ski out on a day in the single digits so we could come in and warm up/fuel up as needed. That was our first time staying at a ski in/ski out condo and it was super convenient. Trails were in nice shape and we had a great day on the mountain. Especially beautiful views in the am sunshine! The condo was great and as advertised. Had everything we needed. Only drawback was that the TV is only good for showing VHS/DVD movies. We knew about it in advance and it was not a big deal. We watched some shows on a laptop using wifi. Would have been nice to watch the Bruins though! Our schedule opened up giving us the chance to do this on short notice. M&F made it very easy. Would definitely stay at these condos again.

Great Weekend at Saddleback!

Great time at Saddleback and Rangeley! A quick last minute trip was well worth it and the folks at Morton & Furbish rentals were super helpful and accomadating. The proximity to the trails and the view were amazing. We loved the fireplace and the open layout. Hoping to book again soon.

Beautiful Mountain Condo with Amazing Views!

I had a wonderful stay in this Saddleback Mountain condo in August 2022. The unit was clean, nicely decorated, and with plenty of cookware and dinnerware in the kitchen. The 2 downstairs bedrooms were particularly spacious and offered some privacy to my young adult children. The best part was the mountain views while drinking my coffee on the deck each morning. I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in the Rock Pond Condo/Saddleback mountain. The condo accommodated a family of 6 very nicely. We all enjoyed the proximity to the lodge and lifts, ski in and out (although skiing in was a bit of an effort). The condo's kitchen had most everyone needed for cooking and the radiant heat in the floors was lovely. Guests should bring their own shampoo/conditioner and soap as that is not provided.

Great stay

Wonderful stay at saddleback. This condo was great. Comfortable and well stocked. (Though doesn't have a wine bottle opener - no worries, we used a ski pole :). ). Will come back next year!
