Luxury Retreat with Lake Views, Hot Tub, Fire Pit & Association Pool

This is a rare luxury property that normally rents from Sunday through Sunday during the peak summer season. Due to association rules, this retreat home is only available for four weeks each year. We are unable to fulfill any more requests once we have accepted up to four weeks each year, so please book in advance to make sure you can enjoy this rare luxury.

Living Spaces
Enter through stately double doors into the foyer where you are greeted by maritime decor and high-end furnishings in the main living room. Elegant couches and lounge chairs surround an enormous fireplace framed with gorgeous art and artifacts. The two-story bay window overlooks the back patio, lawn, and wide view of the lake. An equally elegant home office doubles as a reading room or private conversation area. This inspiring space is excellent for stealing away to get some work done or tucking into a book. The upstairs landing overlooks the living room. Downstairs family room has a wrap-around couch, TV, poker table, library and games. The dual living room and family room configuration allows guests to unwind by watching a movie or reading a book while others play games or chat.

Cooking & Dining
The well-appointed kitchen has every modern amenity you might need to prepare meals for you and yours. There is a large fridge, modern stove and oven, plenty of cabinet space, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, and plenty of dishes and utensils. The high-end pots and pans hanging suspended above the granite island bar with bar stools are an added touch. Uniquely, the kitchen also features two lounge chairs and a small table set at the bay window. This is a singular treat. Catch up over morning coffees in added comfort or relax and plan your next adventure while lunch is being prepared. The inset dining room connects the kitchen to the living room. The warm wooden dining room table seats six guests comfortably. Wide glass panel doors in the dining room open out onto the back patio, making indoor or outdoor dining simple and graceful. A pantry and laundry room leading from the kitchen provide added convenience during your stay. The communal areas on the first floor are serviced by a half-bath in the hallway.

Bed & Bath
Guests have their choice between five bedrooms, each with sumptuous bedding, high-end furnishings, and an elegant lake-side aesthetic. The primary bedroom on the first floor has a queen-sized bed with dual walk-in closets, and a private ensuite bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower, separate soaking tub, and spacious twin vanity setup. The unique octagonal windows, blue maritime aesthetic, and Grecian columns and tile work offer a spa-quality experience in this suite. The second floor has three additional bedrooms. The first has a king-sized bed with a seating area and a private ensuite bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two twin day beds and a private bathroom and the third bedroom has two twin-over-twin bunk beds. Heading downstairs to the lower level, there is an additional bedroom with a queen-sized bed with a private bathroom and a queen sleeper sofa that can accommodate extra guests.

Outdoor Spaces
The spacious back patio is something to behold. Beautiful stonework and a built-in fire pit are ideal for evenings overlooking the lake. There is plenty of seating and multiple dining areas for morning coffees and outdoor barbecues. Stroll through the shady lawn off of the back patio or play an easy game of frisbee before taking a dip in the private hot tube or community pool.

Additional Information
The Bluffs is a gated community with full-time residents as well as second-home owners. Because the organization only permits four rental weeks per year per home, this property is only available for a short period each year. With that, you can expect a private residential experience during your stay in South Haven.
