Nice Two Day Visit

We had a good time at the rental. Tal the owner was very accommodating and we enjoyed chatting with him. Close to everything we needed. Highly recommend this property.

Stayed for 5 days with my family of 5. Cabin was clean and everything we expected. Check in was very easy. I experienced good communication with the host. There are so many activities minutes away from the cabin. The beach is so close! Definately recommended! Mini golf was a 2 minute walk. Go karts was a 5 minute drive. There is an awsome zoo 20 minute drive. Jet ski rental on site, paddle board rentals by the beach. So many food options nearby!

Off-season - good price for the area

Very close to the beach with nice lawn space next to the river for summer activities (did not get the chance to use much but would enjoy that if we were there in the warmer months). Seems that going through VRBO may make communication less than ideal. Once on site Tal was very responsive.

Overall satisfied

Impressed with how clean unit was. Check in process is a little strange. You just walk around until you find someone that works there to let you in. I sent a few emails to property owner with questions before my stay but never heard back. I’m very happy though with my stay.

Not the greatest. It was clean, but uncomfortably hot. The biggest problem was the lecture we got when we checked in about keeping the sheets clean. He was nice and recommended a place to eat etc. but it made me so uneasy that I couldn’t relax. Additionally, no one answered at the office when we went to check out, so I sent an email letting him know where the key was, and I requested a receipt for any credit card charges. That was yesterday and I still haven’t received a response. Not the best - but not the worst either.

U will have a chance vs the seagull

We would like to BBQ beside the beautiful river, however if we didn’t holding the food on hand, be careful all ur food’s no matter cook well or not, the seagull just take ur food just a second, over then 20 of them just around us. Luckily we got the kitchen that have enough tool for us to cooked. But if there had a baking pan it will be perfect ~

Not happy

Very uncomfortable beds and sofa. For a place that is not for partying and reasonably quit I was hoping for some much deserved R'nR Unfortunately did not receive that and left a night early.

Dans l’ensemble, le logement était propre, bien situé et équipé des nécessités de base, ce qui a rendu le séjour agréable malgré quelques points à améliorer.La cuisinière et le réfrigérateur fonctionnaient bien, et le logement offrait tout le nécessaire pour un séjour simple et pratique. Il y avait une bonne base pour la cuisine. La télévision est offerte avec un service de diffusion continu. Le climatiseur fonctionnait bien. Son emplacement est aussi un vrai avantage : il se trouve à quelques minutes de la plage, qu’il suffit de rejoindre en traversant le pont. Ce logement est collé au logement principal et un autre logement locatif. Certains aspects du logement pourraient toutefois être améliorés. Il n’y avait malheureusement pas de ventilation adéquate lorsqu’on faisait la cuisine, ce qui obligeait à gérer la fumée, les odeurs et le risque de déclencher le système d’alarme. Les fenêtres n’étaient pas en très bon état, et il n’y avait pas de moustiquaires à toutes les fenêtres. La douche était petite, la pression d’eau plutôt faible, et les serviettes n’étaient pas de grande qualité.L’hôte a toutefois été très sympathique et disponible selon la méthode de communication. Il nous a donné quelques références d’activités à faire dans la ville et semblait prêt à nous aider en cas de problème avec le logement.

Functional-

The space was as advertised. Check in was challenging since there are 2 properties in town with the same name which led to some confusion. Otherwise it served our purposes. My only pet peeve is the service charge tacked on to the rate but then the host lists all these clean up chores that a guest is expected to do..e.g. put the dishes away, empty the trash, etc or else suffer a cleaning charge. Well what is the service fee for? This is becoming more prevalent in the short term vacay ecosystem so much so that getting a hotel is more price competitive these days. And it comes with maid service.
