Beautiful spot

Really enjoyed our stay here, an absolutely beautiful location despite the rainy weather when we came. Had a great time using the kayaks too!

Great stay

Awesome place right next to the estuary. Lots of amenities provided and the check in and out process was super easy. Ross is great at communicating too! Would stay again.

Lovely place

The rain was pouring during our stay but we were lucky and very comfortable inside the house. Very cozy and I’m sure it’s beautiful in the summer.

Excellent bach for family

Location was so convenient, in front of bach it has an estuary which was picturesque, large back garden for children to run around. Overall the bach was so well looked after, and the manager was so helpful

Host was helpful & responsive to questions. House was comfortable, with a peaceful outlook. Very relaxing family holiday bach. Great kitchen & bathroom, lovely indoor outdoor flow. Kids loved sitting in the jetty at high tide.

Awesome Family Stay

The house was exactly what were looking for in a holiday home. The coffee machine was the bonus. Enough outdoor space for all activities. The kayaks were a great hit with all the little and big kids. Beautiful piece of land. Definitely booking again on our next visit to NZ.

Great little backwater

Nice to be on an estuary and in a relative backwater place ....quiet and no hype. But close to activities.

Fantastic location and fabulous facilities!

We loved our stay at this brilliant bach, which delivered on everything we were looking for in a short family break. Handy for Matakana, Omaha and Tawharanui, as well as our new favourite beach Matheson Bay, it is also a place where you can stay put and relax. The kids loved the board games, kayaks and the huge yard for cricket, while we enjoyed the outlook over the water, the excellent coffee machine and the space inside and out. We’ll be back!

Whangateau trip

Lovely house in a lovely location halfway betwen Leigh and Matakana. Comfy beds, the decks were great for sitting outside. Having an accessible shower was great for my mother - i would like to recommend an anti slip mat for the tiled floor.
