Beautiful cottage on a quiet lake on the Pickerel River system. Lake has 60 km of navigatable waterway, great fishing for Bass, pickerel and pike, with access to crown land and back lake fishing.
Property is full raod access and come completely furnished and ready to go.
Three bedrooms plus a cot for the living room, one recently redone bathroom. Forty foot dock with great swimming! Paddle board, kayak, canoe, and other boats available. Contact for shorter stays.

Get away from it all

We had an amazing time. Definitely somewhere you can fully disconnect from everything. Be prepared that there is no cell service if that is important.

Lakeside Fun

Really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Spent most of the time swimming and hanging out on the dock. We did get some cell reception, so you could send texts. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness, because this is a COTTAGE, not a modern home. Its a roof over your head and a comfy bed. Would definitely book again.

Not a hotel so don't expect luxury BUT worth the experience and views

If you're looking for luxury and modern amenities, this is not for you BUT if you are looking for solitude, peace and escape from city life go for it. It is a true cabin experience, does not come with sheets. Blankets are dated so walk with your own as I am not sure how often they get laundered. The outside of the property was worth the money and overlooked the flaws of the cabin. There is no cell reception period! No two bars, one and it was on and off but it was a blessing because it forced us to truly unplug. There are kayak's, canoes and a lily pad that we were able to try for our first time and I loved it. Kayaking at 6am is a must try it is so quiet and peaceful! We caught catfish, bass and sunfish. The lake has an area that is perfect for a child as it's shallow. The walk from where you park to the cottage is far and steep so be prepared. The bed protectors looked old and there were alot of nooks with cots and beds that was a bit creepy so I suggest the owner block it off. There was an old dresser that we covered the mirror not to scare ourselves.LOL. All in all it is a lovely location and with some minor repairs and updates to the property it will be a comfort to any guest.

Amazing Stay

Owner was very helpful, with one call he explained everything perfectly, answered questions even before I could think of them. The place was beautiful and the kids had an amazing time, not a second of boredom. Perfect place to relax and to spend with the family.
