Summary:

Superb one storey log cabin with private outdoor hot tub, sauna, and access to the resort. The chalet is equipped with an air conditioning to offer you comfort in summer.

2.8km lake, 2 heated swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), canoe, kayak, paddle board, children's play area, hiking trail, snowshoeing, ice rink, basketball, badminton, pocket and iron games.

Summer Escape

Relaxing resort style atmosphere. Beautiful chalet fully equipped with all the kitchen equipment needed. Organized use of the water sport equipment. Great pools!

Beautiful log chalet

Very impressed with the log structure, well built! The chalet was nice and warm, and spotless when we arrived. We enjoyed the fireplace, the spa, the pool, and the snowshoeing trails.

Best chalet ever

So warm and cozy that we felt at home as soon as we arrived! Everything so clean and comfortable! We really enjoyed the fireplace, the barbecue and the hot tub !Thank you very much for such a beautiful chalet!Will definitely come back!

Easter getaway

Great little log cabin to relax and enjoy the woods. Close 10 minute drive to Morin Heights/ St. Sauveur for skiing/snowboarding. Perfect amenities.

Great place for a good rest

10 min of the Morin Heights ski station, 20 min from St-Saveur, snowshoe trails access less then 100 m; we had a great time, the cabin was perfectly clean, beds and pillows comfortable and nothing like a nap by the fireplace after ski and spa.

Bedroom furniture needs replacing (lumpy mattress and frame makes a terribly loud noise if you move) but otherwise a great place to relax and enjoy. Resort amenities were excellent. Cabin was spotless.

Great spot

Lovely spot. Dishwasher needs replacing, but we finally managed to make it work. Kids loved it. Appreciated the Ev charging station too!

Amazing

I absolutely love it . We had issues with the water but were move to another beautiful cabin. It didnt fit our needs and was then moved back asap to our original cabin. Im so happy with the service i get here every year (15year). I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and everyone i meet. Cant wait to go back next year

Wonderful long weekend away

This property is so close to Montreal, but feels like it’s in a different world. We had a wonderful time away— enjoyed the hot tub; screened porch with comfortable chairs for lounging; a kitchen with all basic pots and plans, plus a coffee maker, grinder for beans, Keurig, and a nespresso. The cabin is close to the lodge, which is convenient for swimming, kayaking, and sports. We highly encourage as much lake swimming as possible in the cool, clean lake. We can’t wait to return!

fall vacation

Our vacations are always at Fiddler Lake Resort. Over the past 12 years we have rented various chalets from a 2 bedrooms to a 6 bedrooms in winter and fall season. Best place to be for relaxing. However, some chalets are better kept and equipped than others. Chalet 23 needs some TLC in equipment and furniture. Other than that, we had a great vacation.

Nice vacation place overall

The place was nice! They only things we didn’t like was that the furniture needs to updated. The couches were ripped and the chairs for the dining table 2 were broken. The mattress were not comfortable!

Great landing spot

The chalet was excellent! Very clean! Communication was lacking. Instructions on locking the door and using the keypad were not there. We had to figure it out. Also, instructions on turning on the AC were nowhere. My husband found a remote control and that’s how we figured out how to use it. I did feel like we got scripted responses to questions. More details on how things worked would be helpful. We used the chalet as a base to explore Montreal and Quebec City. We took the train from Montreal to Quebec City and stayed one night there. My daughter and I did paddle board on the lake at the resort and used the indoor pool. The paddle boards down by the lake could use some updating. We did enjoy the hot tub several evenings at the chalet. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking needs. I would stay here again if we ever find ourselves in that area again.

Great location

This chalet is conveniently located close to Morin Heights and Saint Sauveur. The home is well laid out with all the amenities needed for a few days stay. Comfortable beds for the most part, a few extra towels would have been nice. But there are laundry facilities so that’s a bonus. Hot tub was great- sauna unavailable however we knew it wasn’t working before we arrived. There were issues with electrical outlets which finally got resolved but the Wifi did not work at all. Not critical to our stay but it was listed in the rental info. It’s a nice cozy place. To relax and unwind after skiing, snowshoeing or skating- all which are available within a short drive. As an aside, excellent restaurants in both Morin Heights and St Sauveur. Thanks for hosting us at your beautiful spot.

Christmas in Chalet 23

Our family was happy there. Beds were comfortable. Open space was ideal. Snow covered pins trees magical. But we arrived just after the power had been restored and there was an immediate need to attend to the problems at hand. There was no instruction booklet that we could consult to restart the water pump and turn off the beeping alarm. With the wifi not working for the entire 4 days we emailed the manager using our data. I was put in contact with the handyman who drove to the chalet. It was an easy fix that could have easily been taken care of had there been a “welcome booklet” with important information. Everything was done by email. Had we not had our data we would have been very much effected. Again the importance of a booklet, the 2nd power outage had us scrambling to find more fire wood due to another power outage the next day. Again, an email was sent. So much wasted time and energy on Christmas for information that could and should have been included in writing in the chalet for easy electronic free access. The kitchen was not full equipped. It was adequate. The dish washer was unsecure from its intallation, tipping forward when the rack was pulled out. Cutlery rack had big holes in the bottom. Bamboo cutting board should be thrown out.

Ce fut un séjour des plus agréable. La maison était parfaite pour nous. Cependant nous aurions apprécié avoir plus de débarboullettes .Si je peut me permettre une suggestion , installer un ventillateur de plafond dans le solarium car même avec 4 a 5 fenêtres ouvertes il fesait chaud et on est juste en juin . Sinon tout ètait tres bien . Nous avons apprécié s.Merci et a une prochaine j'espère.
