Had a wonderful time here over a four day weekend. The property is cozy and beautiful. Cañon City was super cool to visit and there was plenty to see. Owners of the property were kind and generous. Definitely recommend staying here!

The house was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and private. The fenced yard was our spot to enjoy the fall temps and sip on coffee or stargaze. This will be our go-to stay the next time we're in Canon City.

I thought it was a convenient setup. Close to the city and covered parking. The condition of the apartment was good and everything worked. The hosts were nice. It would have been nice if there was a shade covering the window over the toilet. It was just a little weird with the frosted glass window.

Perfect Stay

Beautiful apartment just off the owners home but it feels like you are totally alone. They have everything you need with clear instructions. It is within a 10-15 minute drive of all of the great drives and hikes and site seeing in the area. We would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent. Quality was outstanding. Owners thought of every little detail. The owner was hands on and friendly and offered every assistance. Ine of the best we have ever stsyed in.

More than expected,

The property was easy to find and very easy to access and check in. We had driven up from Houston (14 hours in he car). When we arrived the place was very comfortable, quiet, and private. Th fridge was stocked with water and snacks. The patio has a grille and chiminea fireplace.We had a wonderful stay.

Visiting old friends

Brought my mom out to visit her friend of 72 years. This place was wonderful to stay. Perfectly clean, quiet, and very comfortable. 10/10! Will stay here again if we can in the fall and have recommended to their out of town family.

Cute and Clean

We had a wonderful time in Canon City. There's plenty to do around town and a short drive to the Royal Gorge and other outdoor sights. Our stay at this property was perfect. It was very clean and had everything we needed. I appreciate having a washer and dryer available so i could pack a little lighter. It was a quiet location and the little outdoor courtyard was a nice relaxing and private area. While we didn't end up using them, the farm fresh eggs were a nice touch.

Wonderful!

This is an excellent property with exceptional hospitality! The property is as nice as it appears online and stocked with everything guests need to enhance and enjoy a stay. In addition, the property was very clean and well appointed. There is a very nice and private outside sitting area that includes a gas grill and more. The owners checked in with us to make sure our needs were being met which we thought was a nice personal touch. In addition, the location is outstanding and scenic! We are hoping the property is available when we return to Colorado!!

The best ever we stayed so far.

A beautifully maintained home, a super well stocked kitchen and bathroom . There is nothing absolutely nothing one could say "wish they had this". They have everything that one would need for a comfy stay . The owners were generous enough to put some condiments and fresh eggs from their barn for us to use . The patio is beautiful and my kid spend a lot of time on the hammock star gazing . Its proximity to Royal Gorge makes it ideal for many . We stayed for 2 days and went around places . Loved the home.

This rental was a home run - no hotel could ever match its cleanliness, amenities, and sheer comfort. The owners clearly have a knack for the finer details, from the abundance of blankets and pillows to the fully stocked fridge and cupboards. Heck, they even had s'mores for the private fire pit! Talk about going the extra mile. And let's not forget the washer and dryer - a true lifesaver for the travel-weary. Nestled in a charming country setting, yet conveniently close to the action, this place was the perfect home away from home. 10/10, would rent again (and again, and again).

Calm and peaceful

this was our second stay at this property. We will stay there every time we go to Canon City. It is quiet, peaceful, calm relaxing and all the things. There are very nice touches that you don't always find. The makings for S'mores, fresh eggs, yogurt and bottled water are just a few. You could cook most anything in the fully appointed kitchen. I manager a small motel and am very picky about where I stay. This foots the bill and then some. Thank you, Lois for providing a nice, simple retreat!

Not a Happy Anniversary

The listing needs to say, “unit is apartment attached to owner’s home who will be present during your stay”, instead of “completely separate unit, property owner may be present”. We walked in expecting stairs to the rest of the house, as pictured. We walked straight back out and got a hotel room.

Super clean, well stocked (snacks instant oatmeal coffees teas basic cooking spices toiletries and laundry soap), quiet well appointed rental for two or three adults or family with young children. More than one preteen or teenager or older would make more crowded. Though they do offer a rollsway. Enclosed private patio space allowed for extra time enjoying fresh air . Hosts offered their contact number if anything was needed but we did not need to reach out to them as we had all we needed. Great place to stay! .

Our stay was exceptional. The apartment was well designed, clean, and convenient. It sits just on the edge of Lincoln Park. It has a great view and is very quiet. We would stay there again. Can't recommend it enough.

Wonderful experience

Wonderful experience! Owners are on site and ready to help in anyway they can. Loved playing with the dogs and enjoyed the eggs from their chickens. The apartment is full of extras and amenities!

Clean and stylish

We really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen has everything you didn't bring like knives, pots & pans, spices etc to cook for yourselves. There is also a grill and a cute shady side yard just for the rental. It was very clean and quiet, we would definitely stay again.

Quiet House Close to Town

This nice little house was perfect for my wife and I trying to get away for some peace and quiet. The house was clean and very well taken care of. It is just a 5 minute drive into town and 15 minutes to the Royal Gorge. All in all, a great place for some rest and relaxation.
