Accommodation at Bright Highland Valley Cottage 5 provides a delightful, cosy two bedroom unit set in peaceful park-like grounds. The cottage has everything you would need in a holiday unit, bright, modern and comfortable.
Located only one kilometer from the center of Bright you have everything you need close by plus more. Take a ten minute stroll to Bright’s restaurants and shops, adjacent to the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail and very close to the Heritage Canyon Walk along the Ovens River.

This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group).

KITCHEN/DINING
Fully equipped kitchen for those nights you'd prefer to stay in and cook. You'll have everything you need.

LOUNGEROOM
Spacious loungeroom with lots of couch space to cozy up in front of the digital TV and DVD player at the end of a busy day exploring Bright & surrounds.
Free WIFI.

HEATING & COOLING
Split system heating and cooling and electric blankets on the beds.

BATHROOM
Walk in shower and a separate toilet.

OUTDOORS
Plenty to enjoy outdoors at these cottages. At the cottage itself you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on your own private veranda with your own BBQ. In the warmer months, you can relax by the 10 meter, in-ground, salt water communal swimming pool while the kids go for a swim.

Off street parking for 1 car next to cottage. *Please do not park extra cars on common property particularly grassed areas. Extra cars will need to be parked on the street outside the complex.

Reviewer Comments: From the moment the accomodation waa booked the whole process was easy, there waa clear information emailed and key pick up was easy.The cottage is clean and well maintained. Outside there is carport, outdoor table and chairs and BBQ. Amenities are well above the standard of most places I have stayed, fully stocked kitchen with cookware, microwave, oven and fridge, cleaning products and basic cooking essentials (olive oil, salt, pepper).Entertianment wise there was a TV with DVD player and a collection of DVD’s including childrens ones.The beds had fresh bedding, and we were provided with towels, soap and shampoo.Washing machine and dryer also installed.There waa a clothes airer to dry snow gear in front of the split system, and the electric blankets on the beds were extra cosy and my daughters favourite part.There was a pool in the cottage complex too, unfortunately for us, winter wasn’t the time to be using it. Walking distance to Bright, and approximately 1 hour drive to the snow.Overall, extremely happy with our stay10/10 would stay again

Reviewer Comments: This cottage is in an extremely idyllic location and was reasonably priced, however, we were quite shocked at the uncleanliness of the majority of the dishes. The bathroom shower was very nice - great pressure with very hot water, but again this part of the house could have been cleaner, as we found hairs from previous guests or the owners and a fair bit of dust. I would also highly recommend that the owners upgrade the mattresses as they were extremely firm and not particularly comfortable. The spare blankets were very dusty. The place just needs a little more TLC in the cleaning department. The view out of the living room window in Autumn is truly picturesque. We would stay here again, but feedback goes a long way.

Cosy Cottage in great location

Quiet, comfortable and warm. Great location, loved that we could just pop out the back straight onto the bike trail. Would be good to have a bit more cutlery (family of 4) but otherwise well equipped. Kitchen basics such as oil, salt & pepper, tea were appreciated. Easy parking next to cottage with plenty of space for bikes. Simple check in/out process. Would happily stay here again when visiting Bright.

Nice little Cottage

Location wasn't too bad, a little out of town and some walking distance but love the surrounding quiet environment. Property is clean but do have some funny smell inside. Property condition wasn't as new as I expected, was little older than showed in the photos. Front door was hard to open/close, couldn't avoid the banging noise every time open or close the door. Property white good appliances are old, the washing machine was shocking cause it create huge loud banging noise during wash but still get the job done. Great communication from the property team, key collection, check in/out information was sent to email with clear direction and instruction given. Especially with the late check out offer. Overall we had a pleasant stay over and will love to see some improvement when we back again. Thanks.

Not a happy place

Reviewer Comments: We have been returning guests for many years and have loved staying here previously. This property is now being managed by Dickens Real Estate and they are disgusting to deal with. Upon arrival, the pool was green and covered in cm deep duck poo and no gas in the BBQ. The unit smelt very musty like it hadn’t been aired in a while. It was difficult to get in contact with anyone as we only had an emergency number to call for urgent matters. When questioned, we were told that they can’t help wildlife and the pool guys comes every couple of weeks and it was crystal clear. We vacated early and were told we would be contacted today (4/1/22) but no one has bothered to call us.

Reviewer Comments: The cottage was lovely, clean, welcoming, well equipped and in a good location.We left one of our bags at the cottage and didn't realize until we were home (2 hours away). The staff at Bright Holidays were wonderful and found the bag and quickly sent it on to us. That really helped us out and we very much appreciate the extra, friendly effort. Thanks!
