Great property for family stay with young kids. Super clean place with great indoor and outdoor space. It had everything we needed and on a nice quiet street. It was super convenient to stores and local eateries. Matt was super responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend if you're heading to the Gibsons area.

Great location, well equipped

What the place lacked in charm, it more than made up for with its fantastic location, excellent equipment/amenities and organisation. We loved that it was within walking distance of nearby supermarket, specialty shops and restaurants, as well as to the heart of Gibsons (for those who are game to walk down... and then up again). Also a short enough drive to Roberts Creek where our favourite beaches are, as well as Sechelt.The house was clean with a well-equipped kitchen, convenient washer, large yard, and generous rooms (all as pictured in the listing). And everything was well-labelled, so finding things was easy.We would stay again!

Nice place

We enjoyed the house. Good location for us to visit friends and family. Some quirks. Beautiful kitchen though! The only real complaints we had was that we found the bed too soft for our liking, and the floor heat in the main bathroom wasn’t working. The owner/host was good to deal with and replied right away to any issues we had.

Spotless house in convenient location

Our family of five had a great week in this house — we loved being close to grocery stores, hiking, the ferry, and the beach. The house was comfortable, well-organized, and well stocked. We made most of our meals here and the kitchen was more than adequate for all of our needs.

House is convenient to everything, lots of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. We brought Christmas decorations to make it cozy. Love the labels, made everything easy to find. Recommend a QR code for the wifi password. We loved it. Great place to stay.

Wonderful stay in Gibsons

We had a fantastic stay in Gibsons at Matt's property on a quiet residential street. It was a great spot, close to shops and restaurants. We appreciated how well labelled everything was in the home and the thorough house guide that was available to read. Beds were all comfy and having two spacious bathrooms was great for the 5 of.us. I would definitely recommend staying here if you'd like a comfortable place to be while visiting the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Sunshine Coast exploring beaches in Gibsons and Sechelt, taking nice walks/hikes, and the little boat ride we took around Keats Island too!! Nice clean property, centrally located in Gibsons

Very nice renovated home, the location was great and we had great communication with Matt. All our friends enjoyed their stay except for one thing. There is an outside security camera that is directly over the outside patio table monitoring the backyard and patio door. As per our rental agreement, It was disclosed but it still didn't feel right. When I suggested to Matt it may be better positioned it was not received well. Besides that, it was a great rental and I would highly recommend it as long as you are cool with the possibility of being monitored,

Great location, easy to get to town and main shops as well as access to the highway up the coast. Really liked that there was a garage for storing our bikes. Great for a family!

We were there for a wedding. the house was perfect to accommodate my family on the groom side and they had the groom pictures done there the decor of the house was perfect and the backyard. we could not ask for a better setting it was more than what we expected the house was very organized and clean

Big, bright, modern kitchen and bathrooms, comfy beds, lots of games and big TV screens for evening movies, deer visiting the backyard, a lovely patio, great location and very gracious hosts. Couldn't possibly asked for more! :-)

Quiet and Cozy!

This property is so nice. It is very well equipped with everything you need and more. We will definitely stay at this house again if we are in Gibsons. Nice neighborhood

Pleasant and quiet street with a forest less than 5 minutes from the property - great for morning walks. Deers visited the backyard which was an added attraction. Well stocked with basic kitchen needs.

Really great property in a fantastic Gibsons location

Having lived my entire life in BC but never having gone up the coast, I have to say that this house was a fantastic base to use for our days exploring Gibsons and some of the surrounding areas. The house is very centrally located in Gibsons and most of the key areas are easily accessible, even by walking if you're able to do some of the hills. There is plenty of parking available in a nice residential area and it's very quiet and peaceful. The house has everything you'd need; we had 6 in my party and there was plenty of space for relaxing, eating, and just enjoying ourselves. The house is quite well stocked. Plenty of utensils, dishes, and a good selection of pots and pans. Of course, on vacation you don't usually plan on cooking much but for my friends and I, we did cook a few times and everything was great. Bedrooms were well laid out and easily fit our party of 6. Check in and Check out was very easy. House rules are all very reasonable and easy to follow, and there are a lot of helpful reminders posted in logical places to help you remember everything. Matt was great answering all my questions, not only helpful but also very fast. Highly recommend this house if you're looking for a nice place in Gibsons to use as your base for your stay! Thanks, Matt!

Great place and fantastic location

Check in was seamless and the place was really clean. Very modern! Even better was the location, its a few minutes drive away from Gibsons Landing and actually only 30 mins to Sechelt.

Excellent Accomodations

Our family and friends experienced a truly relaxing and enjoyable vacation during our first time in the Sunshine Coast and this property in Gibsons was our home base. Matt and Jean's accommodations were extremely well appointed, and included everything we needed. Clean, modern and new, the property was as advertised and the host's communication was first-rate. Great spot for a Gibsons getaway

We had a fantastic stay at Matts place in Gibsons! The house is a short (10-15 minute) walk down to town and is a great launching spot to explore the Sunshine Coast. The house was very clean, new and fresh feeling and had everything we needed for our extended weekend stay. Checkin and checkout was painless and Matt was very easy to communicate throughout the process. Thanks again!!

My wife, Jean and I currently live in Burnaby, BC. We fell in love with Sunshine Coast on a 2020 trip to Roberts Creek, quickly bought our second home in Gibsons early 2021 and have been taking mini trips there for some much needed R & R. It's been rejuvenating being home away from home, especially during the pandemic and the short 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay makes it really feel like a mini vacation. We are excited to share our beautiful quiet space with like-minded folks who are looking for a wonderful get away with family and friends in the beautiful Sunshine Coast!

Newly renovated house with a generous sized lot on a very quiet residential street. 3 bedrooms (each can sleep 2). Master bedroom has a King with ensuite. Bedroom 2 has 2 Twins (can be joined together to make a King) and Bedroom 3 is a cabinet bed which can be converted to a Queen (or left as a spare sitting room if bed not needed). A full kitchen to make you feel at home! Fridge, GAS range, dishwasher and small appliances (mini toaster/air fryer oven), coffee maker and microwave oven and generous size kitchen island. Many places to relax/socialize: kitchen island (with TV), living room, dining area and outside patio and spacious private backyard. Washer and dryer available.

Guest access
House is situated near the border of upper and lower Gibsons so you get the best of both! 10 min drive to Ferry terminal. Driveway parking is available and there is plenty of free street parking for additional cars. Once you are settled in, you are walking distance to Sunnycrest Plaza (SuperValu, London Drugs, BC Liquor store and much more!), 3 min. drive to iconic Gibsons Landing and within a few minutes drives to several places (restaurants, pubs, breweries, Gibsons Public Market, Gibsons Marina, bakeries, cafes, coffee shops, stores, etc..). Few minutes drive to beaches (Secret Beach, Bonniebrook Beach, etc..) and hiking trails. If you want to venture out, you are a short drive to Roberts Creek and Sechelt!
Other things to note
Full kitchen available with modern appliances, pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, cutlery, and cooking utensils. Recycling and composting is available.
There are two HDTVs with basic cable/Netflix access. Updated plumbing with on demand water system. Non-chlorinated tap water is from the Gibsons aquifer which has been rated as some of the best tap water in the world!
