Enjoy life on the Sunshine Coast! Bike or walk to the Gumboot cafe and shops. Pick up yummy food from the Gumboot Restaurant. Stroll to the beach to watch for whales, seals, otters and eagles. Play in the sand and swim in the waves. Have a beach fire and watch the stars come out. Cozy up in the cottage by the fire, cook in the fully equipped kitchen or BBQ. Watch Apple TV or Netflix and chill. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and two single beds in the sleeping loft space. Hike or bike the many trails nearby or golf at a great championship course just up the road. If you get your fill of Roberts Creek, head 10 minutes to Gibsons or up the Coast to other great towns and outdoor adventures.

Every single detail about our experience was thoughtful and welcoming. The kitchen was fully equiped, and it was a pleasant surprise to find spices, oils, and salad dressing ready for us to use. The ladder to get to the loft beds worked great for us. The heated floors in the bathroom and the laundry were all perfect.We were given a huge list of suggestions, recomendations, and local guides with some personalized recomendations in the check-in binder. It made our entire stay in Sunshine coast delightful.There was also a great selection of books and boardgames to enjoy our time.The location is perfect for exploring the area on foot.Kelly, our host, was very warm and accommodating as well.During our stay, there were high winds in the forecast. So to make sure we felt safe, Kelly left us a few candles and a lantern in case of any power outages. Again, very thoightful and caring.Overall, we would say this place is very highly recommended!

The property was exactly as advertised. It was sparkling clean, very well-appointed with everything we needed, very private and very comfortable.Kelly was so friendly and very responsive to any questions we had. Check in and check out was a breeze.I would highly recommend the Yellow Door cottage to anyone wanting a home base to explore the Sunshine Coast.

Lovely property. Exterior, while cute, belies the superior accommodation within. Plenty of light. Many windows for a comfortable breeze despite not having A/C. Our new daughter-in-law, so impressed with this accommodation, chose to prepare for her wedding here with her bridemaids in tow (we had to make ourselves scarce for a bit!). Lovely kitchen with all the features that we needed. Only "issue" there is that I had gotten very happy with the dampened drawers and cupboard doors such that I'm slamming everything now that we're back in our own house. Very clean. Slept well. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Cute Cottage

This was our second time staying at Yellow Door Cottage. The location is a very short walk from the Gumboot Cafe, stores and the beach. Kelly, the owner, takes pride in the property and communication and check in was quick and easy. Highly recommend!

This cottage was exactly as described. It was impeccable as far as cleanliness, comfort, amenities and the little things that make your stay excellent. You can tell that the hosts really care about you enjoying your stay and include so much to make that possible. We were pleased to see extra toys, games, books, magazines - coming with kids they enjoyed all these extras. We loved our brief getaway at Robert's Creek and would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you!

Great place to sta!

We cousins enjoyed our stay, and the cottage was perfect with all the amenities we needed. It is also centrally located. Kelly was very easy to get a hold of and her responses were fast. Highly recommend!

Comfortable cottage close to MTB trails

The Yellow Door cottage was the perfect spot for a mountain bike get away in Roberts Creek. Close to trails and a great restaurant. Super clean and had everything you could want. Perfectly situated to explore both Sechelt and Gibsons. Our first time in the area but we will definitely be back.

Awesome Stay

Cottage was clean, well equipped and easily accessible! Loved the loft space and there was more than enough room in the cottage for our group of 3 to stay comfortably! Host is very communicative, friendly and helpful! Definitely would stay again on our next trip :)

Great sunshine coast getaway

Super clean well equipped kitchen. Modern space with new appliances etc. The loft is a loft, and the host is very good at communicating the lower ceiling height, so no surprises and no issues sleeping up there.Everything you need for a comfortable getaway on the sunshine coast.

Perfect Roberts Creek Retreat

Fantastic little spot on the Sunshine Coast. The cabin is immaculate, super well appointed and comfy from the moment you step inside. Kelly is a great communicator and she made us feel very welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.

Relaxing stay at the cottage

Amazing cottage to chill out and kick back. Place is very modern, spacious and clean. Location is perfect if you just want to be in walking distance to grab a coffee or stroll to the beach. It's on my "coming back" list!

Hostess Kelly was responsive and provided everything you can think of, and more; the place is exactly how it is advertised, even much cleaner and newer than we expected. The only thing I would suggest is to paint the boulders or put reflectors on them so that if you came back late in the dark, you won't risk hitting them while parking along the fence. We had no troubles but they were hard to see. Thanks!

Peaceful Setting

Yellow Door Cottage exceeded our expectations. It’s clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Kelly our host was exceptionally helpful and respectful of our privacy. I won’t hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family.

Overall very nice. The only problem was the description on the web site as two bedroom. The second bedroom is a loft with a steep ladder to access. I didn’t feel the description was clear enough in the original ad for the property.

Lovely Stay! Great home base.

I booked this with my brother so we could catch up and hike around the coast. It was the perfect place, luckily my brother had no issues going up and down the ladder to the sleeping loft. The cottage is very well stocked and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Yellow door cottage at Roberts Creek BC

Yellow door cottage is centrally located on the coast for sightseeing and day trips. It is very clean comfortable and well stocked. Kelly our host was easy to contact and made great suggestions about day trips. We hope to stay at the Yellow Door again.
