Quick girlfriend getaway to Crystal River

Lovely property, convenient to everywhere! Pool just outside the door and dock just beyond the pool. Even though there are only 2 bedrooms there was PLENTY of sleeping space for our group of 6. Super soft sheets, adequate # of towels, and everything we needed in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

Memorial Day & Anniversary Weekend

I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. The owners/hosts we fabulous to work with. The house was very clean and stocked with all the essentials plus some. We will definitely be back and highly recommend! Great location for those with a boat. Thank you for making our Anniversary stay special as well.

Gem on the river

The house was perfect for our annual yearly guys fishing trip. Pool and home were clean and perfect for gathering. Hosts were super nice and responded quickly all the time. I would highly recommend this home and plan on returning with my wife and kids.

The home had everything we needed plus more. The beds were comfy. The heated pool was a hit! It was located perfectly close but not too close to town, restaurants, ice cream places. The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. Went above and beyond a normal host that we have come in contact with.

Overall excellent place to stay; would recommend Two suggestions to improve: A/C unit makes loud popping noise every time it comes on. Palm tree fronds are hanging down enough to block the sidewalk at front door.

Nice place, not for fishing enthusiasts.

Property and owners were very nice, boat dock was very cluttered, plus boat lift was inoperable. Canal is very shallow. Our boat stayed on trailer in lot across the street. House was very well stocked and holiday decorations were all about the house.

We especially noted how many wall sockets are in the house in this age of needing to re-charge devices. We are a couple in our 70’s, who enjoyed the view of the canal from the patio without a pressing need to go out and explore; the house is much larger than our needs now. There is adequate space and activity (fishing, crabbing, kayaking) for two couples or two families to share this spaciously designed house. Linda and Dan are more than accommodating, and will answer your every question about the home or the area.

Some issues with the property

Overall the house was beautiful and really large and in a great location. We just had some bad luck really. When we got there the home smelled like urine. So we had to open it all up and call the property manager. They gave us some air freshener and said it should go away. It never did, when we had to close the place up because of weather, it came back. It was in a central location by the 1/2 bath. Then when it rained, the septic backed up into the shower and all the toilets and we had to call them again. We couldn't take showers, do laundry, anything really for a whole day. They sent someone right out the next afternoon. The pool really is not warm enough when the weather isn't hot out, that is no ones fault, just FYI.

We were two couples and spent the week here. Great house that has everything you could possibly need. The pool is perfect and has a solar heater that keeps it just the right temp. Great place of you own a boat as it has a working boat lift and dock. Really can’t say enough about how clean and open the house is!

Awesome place! A few things to note…

So clean! I felt like I was staying at my favorite Aunt’s house. You know, the one who was on Golden Girls. Classic, classy, Florida style. The mauve bathroom in the master is coming back in style! Note: “4 car driveway” = one Ford F-250. Boat dock and boat lift work great. No trailer parking. We used the empty lot across the street for trailer and additional truck. Didn’t have permission, but didn’t get in trouble either. Pool-it’s a Little Dipper! 20 ft by 7 ft, 6 foot deep. It was just fine for us. Just don’t expect a big pool.

Good Find

Great place. Pool, dock, kitchen and amenities were perfect for our group of 6. Everything all of us needed to be comfortable and enjoy a great few days stay. Throwing it out, neighbors seem to not like the house being a VRBO but we didn’t let that bother us. That’s just our thoughts, nothing happened just sensed it. Wouldn’t have changed the time spent and appreciate the stay! We had a blast. Would book again.

Week of the 4th

We had a great 5 days at this home. Relaxing out on the dock watching manatees, sitting by the pool. Taking the boats out to scallop. Going to the springs. Property owners were nice, and live in the same neighborhood. Neighborhood is very quiet. Dock was big enough for 2 boats. An overall good experience.

Great Property

This was a great location and property. Close to everything but the setting is quiet and peaceful. You can enjoy your morning coffee out on the dock enjoying the sounds of nature and watching the fish jump. We had a little issue with the lock but the owners were quick to resolve and stopped by to make sure all was OK. they gave us recommendations for things in the area. Would definitely recommend

Amazing Canal home

This home was so clean and comfortable ! The pool was refreshing and views to the back canal with Kayaks was great ! Full kitchen with all the items needs to cook . Close to area attractions ! Loved it
