Peek of the Bay is located in Omena, a quaint village between Suttons Bay and Northport. This charming comfortable home sleeps eight and has three bedrooms with three bathrooms.

The home has an open-concept living room-kitchen-dining area. The living room has a wood-burning fireplace. There are two bedrooms on the main level and one on the upper level. There is also an open loft space with a futon off the upstairs bedroom.

This home sits on a hill on a quiet road with plenty of outdoor space to spread out. Enjoy quiet areas under the trees, a big grassy lawn, and a path into the forest. Out back is a welcoming patio area, a fire pit, and seating on the deck.

The house is just down the road from Omena Beach, Tamarack Gallery, Leelanau Wine Cellars, and the Knot Just a Bar. Suttons Bay and Northport are both six miles away.

Nice Cottage

Cute place - very clean - just off a gravel road. From the pictures I though it was on the water, although it is pretty close to the water - there is no view and definitely not on the water. My mistake. Everything was great.

A/C units in two of the three bedrooms but good ceiling fan a window cross breeze in main bedroom with private bath was fine even on hot days. A/C unit in kitchen nook and several ceiling fans kept main living area very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, cookware, dishes and glasses. Good coffee setup with pot or single serve options. Nice dishwasher and fridge. Didn’t have opportunity to use outside areas but they looked spacious and well kept. Easy location to access and easy to get to all the resort towns in the area. Would definitely choose this property again.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: At first look this is a charming home in a private setting. But inside, every surface in this home was dusty or grimy. It was as if nothing had been given a thorough cleaning in years. We had taken our shoes off upon entry, but quickly realized small stones from the walkway had been tracked throughout. Above the kitchen sink was a wrinkled envelope, with a glob of something attached to it, with a typed message on it requesting a tip for the cleaning crew. This seemed a clear representation of the cleaning standards throughout.

So many cute details to this house

I loved this house! It was clean, room set up was perfect for our group of 4 women. I absolutely loved all of the artistic details inside & outside the house. Everywhere you looked there was something new you didn't notice before. The only thing I could suggest to make our stay better was, there wasn't any dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher and no towels/wash clothes to wash & dry the dishes by hand either. Also we could not do anything with our trash when it got full because there were no extra trash bags or twist ties to close up the bags with. I would definitely stay here again though, it was a lovely place.

The cottage was very clean, welcoming and had many little artistic touches that added to the comfort of our visit. We enjoyed sitting on the deck all hours of the day and had a great bonfire in the back. The cottage was in the perfect location for our family, allowing us to travel easily to Northport, Sutton Bay and Leeland. We will definitely be looking to stay here again!

Nicely Detailed Home

The owners clearly care for this house, and I hope all the guests do too! I love the whimsical built in sculpture, and the functional kitchen and great deck. Lots of light. Relaxing and chill. We were mostly visiting friends nearby so didn't make use of all the outdoor space, but one morning my wife and son did walk down to the public beach for a swim and had a good time. The property is on a residential lane that seems to be occupied by full time residents, which is a vibe we appreciated as a family. If we lived closer we would definitely stay here again.

Peek of the Bay - Really!

This is a beautiful home that is named perfectly as it offers just a peek at the bay! It is private even with a couple of other homes in view. There were 6 adults in our group and we all had our private and together spaces. The home is well stocked, clean, and beautifully decorated. The outdoor areas of the home are also great and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone, and we would stay there again! Thank you for providing such a great place to stay! We had a campfire every night, coffee on the porch in the morning and was just a short walk away from the water. Everyone slept great as the beds are so comfortable. We all very much enjoyed the art throughout the home and made the place feel more like a home. The pictures are not update of some improvements they made and we were very delighted with how everything looked! Even though there are other homes back there, we were very secluded. I would recommend this home to anyone with a “larger” group! So many personal touches throughout this home that we all enjoyed.
