Welcome to Skootamatta Lake Chalet, a beautiful, rustic, four-season 4000 sq ft waterfront retreat on Skootamatta Lake, near to the popular Bon Echo Park. On a quiet bay, facing West, guests are assured beautiful sunsets and a sloping, sandy shoreline. In the heart of Addington Highlands, there is much to explore making it the ideal retreat for couples, families and groups looking for a quiet cottage vacation or an active adventure with fishing, boating, ATV/Snowmobile, skiing, hiking, snowshoeing and watersports."

Cottage complete with 5 bedrooms, large open kitchen, dining and living room. 2 den and media rooms with additional sofa space (which may sleep more). Laundry room and 2.5 bathrooms.

Outside provides fireside seating in front of a sandy beach on a clean and clear waterfront with a West facing view in a quiet bay.

Family friendly and comfortably rustic, you will fall in love with this property.

Great spot for the family!

Lovely place in an excellent location. Has a dock and small sandy beach. Beautiful lake setting. We will go back again. There are neighbours fairly close on both sides however they were lovely.

Spacious cottage quiet lake

Good location. There was some storm damage but the cottage was made suitable for our stay. I appreciate that as it looked like significant damage had resulted from storm.

Late Spring Vacation

Everything was great. Good fishing, kayaking and access to ATV trails. Wonderful spot and it had all the amenities to make it a great stay. Only issue was that one person in our group had some accessibility issues and the showers were on the upper floor. Not sure if that was mentioned in the write up. He was ok with it. Highly recommend it for any age group.

Great house on the water

Really nice waterfront property. We liked the shallow water entry and the sandy beach area at the waterfront. The house was big and had everything we needed.

Annual family cottage week

We had an amazing time at the cottage. The lake is beautiful and quiet. The waterfront had a mix of sandy beach, walk in and dock entry. Great location with the cottage right near the water. The cottage had plenty of room for us all to be comfortable and separate areas for the kids and teens to hang out. There are small towns and parks nearby. We would definitely go back.
