This newly fully renovated waterfront property is great for families and groups. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, large fully-equipped kitchen, fireplace, firepit, horseshoe pit (with separate lighting) and dock. View of the lake from the living room/kitchen. Large private property (2 acres). Gazebo is great for reading, BBQ and family meals. Lake is swim-friendly. Brand new 30ft dock installed. Paddle Board and Canoe on site. Close to a local bakery, small local grocery store, LCBO, restaurant, and large park and play structure.

We had stayed at this cottage last year and were very happy with the facilities and amenities. Kelly is a very good host who replied to our questions in a very timely manner. All in all, a good mini vacation with family!

Cottage was very nice and well equipped. Beautiful view of the lake and gorgeous sunsets. Kelly was an excellent host. She replied to our questions very quickly. Not very good swimming at the cottage. This might be due to the extremely low water levels because of the lack of rain. We were able to get to a raft on our paddle board and swim from there. There is a beautiful beach less than 5 minutes from the cottage. It was great for the kids. There is also a nice playground about two minutes away. There is a nice cafe nearby in Plevna that has wonderful food. I highly recommend it.

The cottage was just as pictured and we had a great time. Our kid got to catch fish off the dock, play in the yard and we enjoyed our propane firepit by the lake at night. We also enjoyed an afternoon in Perth, an hour away, and would recommend it to anyone.

The property was very nice and just as described. It was comfortable and well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. We contacted the owner about a few things she had not been made aware of (broken screens, etc.) and she quickly replied and advised she was not made aware. We did have to vacuum when we arrived but the vacuum was charged so it was only a slight inconvenience. The view, serenity and experience was lovely though.

Perfect location and just as listed

Enjoyed a wonderful week at this location with family and grandkids. The property was as listed and perfect for our group. Kelly was so gracious and responsive and helpful with all our questions.The only drawback was the “ bugs” who were quite persistent in wanting to say hello to us when we ventured out. - but it’s that time of the year and so can’t be helped.For those who not used to “Well “ water the smell could put one off but it was potable and we cooked and showered with it.Thank you Kelly for everything Owen and Sherry - Vancouver

A nice stay, minus the bugs!

There was great access to this property off a paved road with a huge circle driveway, great for those towing a trailer full of fun bikes to ride around the highlands! Amazing lake view as soon as you pull in.Unfortunately, we went during a bad bug time (last week of May 2025)...there was a lot of after bite used that week. Managed to get in a couple fires on the chillier evenings.It was wonderful to have everything there for us. Wood for a fire, propane for the bbq, the basics for cooking. All in all it was a good place to stay, and in a wonderful area! On a side note, there was no mirror in the ensuite. It may have been an oversight as there is a window in front of the sink. There is one in the main washroom.Our host was great! Quick to respond, and seemed to care about how we were doing and if there was anything we needed. Thank you!

The LakeHouse

This property was very well appointed and the amenities were great. We enjoyed a winter bonfire and the snowmobilers in our group said the trails were excellent! Overall, an excellent place for a winter weekend away!

Home away from home

A relaxing modern interior with all the comforts of home that you will appreciate but still has a cottage look and feel from the exterior, surrounded by trees, and quiet bliss while your lake view is a lake that during our stay, was so calm it looked like glass. The host amazing to work with prior to and during our stay if it was needed.

Our week stay

Upon arrival we found an older cottage that has been beautifully renovated. The place was spotless. Kitchen was fantastic. Fireplace was a wonderful touch we got to use on one of the colder days. View from the back porch/firepit over the lake was one we enjoyed every evening. A nice breeze off the lake meant we only saw a couple of mosquitoes at dusk. My brother and I enjoyed exploring the local hiking trails and kayaking a couple of lakes nearby. Township of North Frontenac website was a great place to go to find areas nearby. Lovely stay. As noted in a previous review, you will hear occasional road noise behind you, but it was very occasional and we found the experience to be a peaceful retreat.

Getaway with friends

The home was clean and had everything you needed for a relaxing vacation. The open concept of the common areas of the house allowed everyone to socialize together. The large windows along the back of the house provided an amazing view of the lake.Kelly was an excellent host and provided quick responses to my enquiries.

A Comfortable Place for a Family Vacation

We vacationed in this cottage during the week of July 21st. It was a great stay. Fully equipped, freshly renovated and a great view. You get a mixed flavor of cottage with the view and outdoor activities while living in a modern life style.

Lovely Cabin & Location

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cottage was beautiful inside (fully upgraded and lovely) and was equipped with everything we needed and more. The view of the lake and sunset were fantastic. Kelly was quick to respond and very professional. We will definitely book this cabin again the next time we swing up to the area.

Beautiful stay on the lake

The cottage is modern and beautiful on the inside. Nice big property with a fire pit and chairs, dock, horse shoes! Located near the township of Plevna which has an LCBO, grocery store, cafe… everything someone would need over the course of a getaway. A great stay!

Great for small children

The open concept house, and large, level lawn are great for supervising young children. The kitchen is roamy and well-stocked. Very quiet lake.

A new rental with promise

Cottage is nice and clean. It has few amenities, poor water, and poor internet. Not everything is as advertised. However, the cottage is on a good property on a quiet lake with an excellent public beach nearby. The rental is new, so not everything is in place. Overall, apart from a few small disappointments, we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend.
