We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Bungalow. It was exactly what the was eacribes and shown in the listing. Very clean, beautiful decor, roomy and comfortable. The host was easy to get ahold of and quick to respond! The sunrise from the porch was breathtaking! Will most definitely stay there on our next visit!

Great stay

Super cozy place. Great view. Wish it wouldn’t have had bad weather the weekend of my trip because I would have loved to sit on the back deck and enjoyed watching the sunrise over the lake!

We stayed for two days during the week. It was so peaceful. It was a beautiful look out on the lake and the house was just really nice. The host is wonderful very friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves and we will definitely be back.

Lakeside Nature Cottage

Gloria & I enjoyed a week in the country away from the city rush. Pretty much a chill vacation. We spent time on the relaxing back porch with a view of the lake, birds flying and singing plus dining at the owner's hanging feeder. Karla is a gracious host even bringing over a bag of ice for us. We made a couple of side trips to nearby Bossier City to check out a casino & to eat out. Would recommend BeauxJax Crafthouse for excellent seafood dishes & gumbo. The restaurant owner even came by to give us a free dessert. The cottage is well stocked for a short term rental. Thank you Karla, Freeman

The small cabin is very comfortable. One large king and a small sofa bed.Kitchen stocked with good coffee! Would have liked to have had refrigerated creamer.The long, back porch is special. The view beautiful.Quite.Owner is nearby in case you needed something. Close, but not too close.A very nice experience.

Perfect lake retreat

My girlfriend and I were looking for a short, peaceful, get away on a lake. This cozy cottage was just what we were looking for. We both love fishing so the dock that you have access to only steps down the hill was perfect. The property owner even let us borrow a small aluminum boat to paddle out and fish. We caught enough fish to cook up a few but more importantly enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful views. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and was decorated beautifully. We made one trip into Bossier to the casino. It was a short 30 minute drive. The cabin had whatever we wanted to watch on tv and the ac kept us super cool from the summer heat. We will definitely be back soon. I highly recommend it to any couple looking for a private, quaint, get away!

Wonderful!!!

This was an amazing place to stay for the weekend. I really wouldn't change anything. The host and her family were above and beyond accommodating. They replaced some boards on the pier, so my girlfriend could walk on it, which they really didn't have to do. Very friendly. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. If we ever go back, we will definitely stay there again.

Near State Park

The cottage was very comfortable. The AC worked over time. It was 100 degrees. The water out the faucets taste good. The bed was firm. I didn’t know if the dishes in the washer were clean or not. I had to ask for shampoo. There was no body wash, hair dryer or dishwasher detergent. The spatula and can opener were missing. There were a few dead bugs. It could use a thorough cleaning. The lake was choked with weeds. A boat couldn’t get through. Overall I would recommend a stay there.

Relax on Lake Bistineau

Great location in the heart of Bayou country. Great accommodations and host is very attentive to every detail being just right. Great getaway if you love Louisiana outdoors life! Highly recommend

Relaxing peaceful getaway

This was a great place to spend a couple of days relaxing on our halfway point of a 14 hour drive. Very roomy cabin with full kitchen made it feel like home. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Close to a State Park where we could hike and picnic. The owner left us a welcoming note.
