It’s a beautiful property right on the water in a very quiet part of the Okanagan Lake. The owners are very responsive and lovely to work with. Lots of room for our big family, although the smoke and fires this year prevented everyone from joining us. The home is is incredibly clean and well furnished.

From the way you left the house looking so neat and well-kept to the extra effort you put into washing and handling much of the laundry, it was obvious you took great pride in the space. We’re also grateful for how easy it was to manage the trash and recycling after you left. While we were disappointed that smoke limited some of the sunshine and made the lake experience a bit less enjoyable, we hope you still made lasting memories. We’d absolutely love to welcome you back, and we’re hopeful that next time more of your family can be together on vacation.

Our two families had the most relaxing week at this beautiful lakefront property. Curtis was attentive to all our needs and made us feel welcome from the moment we pulled in. We had three children ages 5 through 11 who all found things they enjoyed, including ping-pong, the hot tub, swimming off the dock, and kayaking. You can’t ask for a better location if you are looking for a quiet lakefront adventure that is close to wine tasting and outdoor exploration. We look forward to coming back again and exploring more of the Okanagan Valley.

We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation at the Lake HouseThe home was exactly as described, very well appointed and clean. The beds and Linens are comfortable and of good quality. The home provided absolutely everything we could possible need for the stay.Beach area was rocky, but a pair of water shoes completely solved the tender foot issue. The lake is clear and warmish, we spent a lot of time on the beach, also swim dock and in the kayaks provided by the host. We were able to easily anchor our boat to the provided Buoy, There was a lot of room for boating activities in front of the house that could easily be watched from the beach chairs.. The over sized dining table was put to good use, as we ate dinner outside every evening while enjoying the beautiful lake views from the deck and hot tub area.The Hosts were very accommodating and friendly.All in All we had a five star vacation at a five star property, We highly recommend this beautiful home on the lake.

We had a great stay. The hosts responded quickly to any questions we had and were super friendly during our stay. The house decorations and accessories are well thought out. Every room had hooks for hanging towels and other items. The lake and hot tub got plenty of use during our stay. We would definitely come back.

Family vacation

We had a fantastic week with our entire family. Lake country and this home had everything to offer Little bit for everyone- golf ,boating, wine tours and grocery shopping. This home has everything you need for a comfortable stay! Will be coming back!

We had a wonderful time at our Okanagan vacation house. We were 6 adults and enjoyed the spacious home with it's cleanliness and nicely appointed interior. Whether jumping in the cool lake or the warm hot tub or taking a nap on the lanai with the lapping of the lake on the shore, it was a great experience. Services are a short drive away with stores and restaurants and several nearby wineries. Central location near Lake Country between Vernon and Kelowna was very convenient to explore the area. We would all do it again.

We travelled with family including two young toddlers. We spent a week at this beautiful home. A great quiet location on Okanagan lake with incredible views. Well stocked with everything you need. We all enjoyed the hot tub and I particularly loved the garden especially the herbs. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed swimming and the use of the kayaks. Plenty to do in the area with vineyards, hiking trails and restaurants close by. It felt like a home away from home. Curtis and Janice were a pleasure to deal with always making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely try to get there again.

Quiet Lakefront Property - Amazing Stay

What a fantastic stay! We planned a vacation with extended family and this vrbo couldn’t have been more perfect. The home was clean and thoughtfully decorated, lots of space inside and out for kids and adults, well maintained green space for tossing a frisbee or football and beautiful lakefront area with floating dock… and hot tub! Lots of near by fishing, cliff jumping and wine tours, cycling and walking trails. Attentive and welcoming owners are next door and were super helpful during our stay. I am hesitant to say how stellar this spot is for fear of not being able to book next year!

Wonderful lake property

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The home itself is furnished with comfortable and quality furnishings, great beds and all the little details that make it and welcoming stay. The kitchen is fully stocked and has all the extras for enjoying meals. There are multiple spaces for people to spend time indoor and out, the deck is fabulous with a beautiful lake view and you are steps to the water. Our hosts, Curtis and Janice were amazing and responded quickly to any of our questions. They were genuinely invested in making our stay an excellent one.

Better than advertised!

The place has been refreshed and improved since we booked, so I had to double-check we were in the right place on arrival! The house is even more impressive in person than in the listing. A few minutes after we arrived, the host (who lives in the property next door) arrived to greet us. Very friendly and great communications throughout. The place was stocked with all necessities. The bedrooms are all a good size and very comfortable. The kitchen and living areas were more than big enough for our group of 6 golfers. (We used one of the living rooms as a sixth bedroom, and the host provided a full mattress for the pullout.) The deck was our main gathering place - it’s a great size with a wonderful view of the lake and surrounding hillsides. We had frequent visits from the local deer (and marmots). It’s a 5 minute drive into town where you can get everything you need, but you feel a million miles away (in a good way!). In short, we loved our week here and would return in a second. 10 out of 10!

We stayed for a week with 2 other families (6 adults, 6 kids) and there was more than enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The property is absolutely beautiful. Let me start with the interior. The level of detail Curtis and Janice has poured into the home is incredible. From the hand soaps, candles, linen, towels, kitchen utensils, games, etc, were all top quality products that enhanced our stay that much more. Wifi was fast as some of us were doing some work during our stay (even on the patio). The kiddos used the tv (Netflix, Disney +) and the adults enjoyed the ping pong table. The exterior of the house was just as amazing. We bbq’d almost daily and spent many hours lounging in the sitting and dining area on the patio overseeing the beautiful lake views. The hot tub was a huge hit and used daily. The lake itself is definitely the crown jewel of the property. The water was calm and was perfect temperature for swimming. (The beach is a bit rocky, so bring water shoes.) All 3 families had only great things to say about this place and we definitely will be coming back again in the future. Great location on the lake as well, close to excellent (Ex Nihilo, Arrowleaf were favourites) wineries and hiking. I have been renting vacation homes for over 12 years and this home is one of the top places and worth a repeat future stay. It has all the conveniences vacationers need and want. There was lots of space for the 7 (6 adults/1 teen) of us; loved having two fridges and an additional freeze, pantry, good quality pots/pans and plenty of dishes/cutlery, a beautiful deck space with high quality furniture, a well designed kitchen layout with a good variety of tools (two kinds of zesters!) not often found in rentals, very comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms with new toilets/ fixtures. Our whole family was suitably impressed. One recommendation would be to have a small supply of sugar and flour on hand. We normally rent places that have a dock, which we missed. There were beautiful trees near the lake but unfortunately it blocked the view of the lake from the deck; if the lower branches were removed they would still provide shade and open up the view.Excellent hosts and we highly recommend this property

Perfect family holiday house!

We were a multigenerational group of 10 and we were all delighted with this stunning house on the lake. The decor was lovely, the kitchen had every staple we needed and a few special touches. We liked that the TV room and living room were separate. We are our group meals outdoors every day on the deck with incredible views of the sunsets. The kids played on the soft grass right up to the water and swam around the warm lake all day. We will definitely book this house again!

Great extended family getaway

The house provided a great getaway for our extended family to get together enjoy some sun, the lake, and of course some wine. There were 6 adults and 5 kids, lots of space for us not to be on top of each other all the time. The floating doc was well used by our crew, as were the supplied kayaks. Our host helped us find a nearby rental shop to rent a stand up paddle board for our stay as well. We had great weather which helped us appreciate the newly added air conditioning.

Wonderful!

We gathered with our family - 4 couples & 4 grandkids, for 6 glorious days at this beautiful property which is on the east side of Okanagan Lake. The home is hidden away in a very private spot, but is close to wineries and shopping. The only neighbors were the owners who lived next door. Curtis was a wonderful host, and he and his wife kept the grounds impeccable. Everything was in top notch condition so we never had to contact him with any problems. No constant boat traffic here as only a few boats cruise by each day. A new hot tub, grass to the lakeshore and a nice floating dock a perfect distance from shore. Lots of extra chairs to sit on the grass and enjoy watching the kids in the water. The shoreline is rocky, so we all had water shoes, but the water was clean. The property also had a couple of kayaks which we made of. The large, gorgeous 5 bedroom house accommodated us easily. There are large eating spaces both inside and out on the huge west facing deck. Top notch recent finishes and furnishing everywhere. The kitchen was large, open, and well equipped. The bathrooms were really nice and had 5 star hotel quality soft and thick towels. We also used the laundry pair on the main floor. This property is at the top of our list the next time we gather in the Okanogan!

Wonderful week

Great place for our annual get-together among old college friends. Plenty of room and rooms, well-appointed home with an outstanding lakeside view. The property managers were very responsive to questions and the few minor issues that came up.

Great place for family vacation

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this house while vacationing in Kelowna. The view of the lake is breathtaking. We were able to swim right from the backyard to the floating dock. In addition to swimming, our kids played many games of basketball in front of the house. The inside of the house was beautifully decorated and maintained. Spacious kitchen with large dining area for our big group. No need to pack a lot for clothes if you are staying here. The house is equipped with modern washer and dryer. Air-conditioning units throughout the house kept us comfortable during the stay. The house is close to shops to pick up food for cooking and restaurants for dining out. The owner of the place Curtis was very welcoming and responsive to communication when needed. We will definitely rent this place again for future trips.

Restful Retreat

Even in the fall this is a beautiful property. The house is far more spacious than it looks online and close to amenities without sacrificing privacy and the feeling of being 'away from it all.' The new owner was easy to get ahold of and very helpful. Very restful.

Awesome spot, right on the lake with a big expansive lawn down to the beach. Great deck

All good. The house is dated and needs some work but the location can’t be beat and was perfect for our large family.

Family getaway

My family and I enjoyed a week at Randy's property. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The lakefront was perfect! Randy was quick to respond to my messages and very accommodating. We would recommend this house to others and would love to come and stay here again. Thank you, Randy!
