The Loft @ Old Falls has been described as “casually sophisticated” and “full of education and nonsense”, both coming together to form the perfect description of this cozy room.

Creating an inspiring stay was the presiding goal when we started, and we’ve worked hard to achieve that mark.

We took antiques, modern amenities, folk art, and local history; and tossed all of it in the blender to create a cocktail full of fun and practicality.

Grab a complimentary snack and coffee in the kitchenette and enjoy it while reading on our spacious covered porch.

After an adventurous day outside, grill up some food on our charcoal grill, eat by the fire, unwind with a long, hot shower and then prepare to enjoy the best nights sleep you’ve had in years when you crawl in the queen size “tent” and drift off to the sound of the waterfall.

This was possibly the most relaxing weekend get-away that we’ve ever had. The hosts were very friendly and have thought of everything. The Loft is clean and cozy. If you are ready to unplug, unwind, reconnect and relax, this is your place. We will visit again. *We rented a Jeep and enjoyed riding the backroads.

We loved everything about our Valentines Weekend stay! The location is perfect for a weekend getaway. The waterfall was beautiful every minute of every day and night! I really appreciate that the waterfall is lite at night!

Brandon and Sandy are great hosts! The size of the loft is just perfect and the waterfall is stunning. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the swinging chairs and watching the world go by!

Nice place with a good view

We really enjoyed our stay there. I wish we could have stayed longer there. The waterfall was very beautiful and relaxing. The loft was unique in so many ways. I personally loved sitting in the hammock on the porch to enjoy my wine and the view and sound of the waterfall. The host was very friendly and nice to us. I definitely recommend this place.

Off the grid in paradise

Restorative and Magical Stay

I had a magical weekend all to myself at the Loft. Every detail, from the fire and Smores box awaiting my arrival to the eclectic decor, made me feel like I was in a holiday movie. I could truly disconnect and relax. I enjoyed walking and driving my Jeep on the trails, reading in the cozy loft, and sitting by the fire.

A Piece of Paradise

We needed a break from the craziness of city life, and couldn't have had a better experience. The space is set up in such a cozy and comfortable way that really encourages you to be outside. The little campfire/cooking area is a great place to lounge, the covered patio is so comfortable, and the stars at night are insane. Such a great way to unplug and recharge.

Wow!

I have never seen so much attention to detail put in a rental property. The closer you look the more you will discover, but you will still miss a lot. The owners were very kind and generous. The property is beyond beautiful and incredibly unique. The area is gorgeous but I would go back for the rental itself and spend more time just soaking it in. My only disappointment is that we had so many plans that kept us away from the property. This was by far the best stay I have ever had.

Hello!

We are Brandon & Sandy Mitchell and we purchased the Waterfall House 5 years ago after stumbling upon it while riding in the country.

Shortly after we moved in, we had a close friend go through a major life event, and came to stay for an extended period of time to use our place to heal and reflect.

This inspired us to share the top level of our house as a sanctuary for individuals and couples who need to reset from the noise of life.
So, we went to work, drawing upon the knowledge from our backgrounds in real estate, construction, and hospitality; creating a space that feeds your spirit, soul, and body.

That place came to be known as The Loft @ Old Falls, and we are both proud and humbled to offer you an invitation to be our guests. We hope you accept and we can’t wait to see you.
