Phillip Island Stylish Beach Shack

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Walk to the beautiful Ventnor Beach, grab some local produce at the nearby
Milk bar, relax in front of the fire, play some good old fashioned board games or take a 10 min drive to our friend’s coffee shop “G’day Tiger” in Cowes. The beautiful Phillip Island Winery is also just a short drive away and for a surf head to Smith Beach, 10min down the road. Many more activities to do, solo or with the whole family! Our beach house offers 3 comfortable bedrooms with new EVA mattresses for an extra good sleep.
Kitchen and lounge room are open plan with direct access to the backyard. The outside is a large open space with lots of native plants and a cosy fire pit to sit around at night. Indoors also has a lovely fireplace to warm up during winter.

Nice cosy cottage, short drive to the Penguin Parade which was brilliant! General store around the corner which was handy and an easy walk to the beach. Unfortunately the coffee pod machine did not take normal sized pods. On the whole a great stay and would recommend.

Lovely cosy cottage at Ventnor!

Wonderful stay at Ventnor. The cottage had everything we needed for the week and our hosts were very accommodating. Easily accessed and in a great location-beautiful beach at the end of the street. Thanks Dave & Yenny for a relaxing week away.

Phillip Island Stay

The house was in a great position. Only a short walk to the beach at Ventnor and a short drive to lots of other beaches. My grandchildren loved it (so did we!). The house is small but very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Wouldefinitely stay there again.

Cute cottage close to beach

Wonderful stay in Ventnor in a 3 bedroom holiday house within 15 minute walk of Ventnor Beach. Lovely big back yard (adjoining a farm with bleating sheep), fire pit and native garden with a visiting echidna, turtle and native birds. The house had linen, towels and full kitchen. We would stay again!

Excellent location

We stayed 5 nights and had a great stay. Little house was very comfortable with a well appointed kitchen. We made use of the firepit and brought our bikes to ride to and from the nearest beach. Would def recommend.

Lovely island accommodation

Furnished nicely, great option of beds for kids. Comfortable. Unexpected toys for our kids to play with. Unfortunately it rained for a lot of our stay so didn’t get to use the outdoor fire pit. Nice quiet location.

Perfect Retreat on Philip Island: Clean, Quiet, Convenient, Unforgettable!

We had a fantastic stay at this Vrbo vacation home on Philip Island! The house was impeccably clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The quiet surroundings and the delightful fire pit added a special touch to our experience, making evenings memorable. With major supermarkets just a short 6-minute drive away, the location was incredibly convenient. We're already looking forward to choosing this vacation home again on our next visit to Philip Island!

Beautiful, well appointed home

Very clean, comfortable and spacious property. Had everything we needed to feel at home. Relaxing environment, lovely backyard and quiet area. Several minutes drive to Cowes and a few minutes walk to the beach. Yenny, Dave and Mike answered all my messages promptly and I will definitely return.

This was a perfect home away from home!! Our young family of 5 stayed here for a couple of nights and loved it! Definitely will be back! Close to everything but away from the hustle bustle. The place was clean, comfortable and cosy. Well worth every dollar spent. They toys books to keep the kids entertained. Short walk to the beach was enjoyable. Truly a hidden gem in Phillip Island! A relaxed extended stay for family.

We were 5 adults (family) and had a great stay. We did so many local activities from the penguin parade to surfing. The fire place inside and out were great as it was winter. The local shop a short walk away was handy and we visited Phillip Island winery. A fabulous stay. My only suggested feedback would be a clothesline for wetsuits or bathers and towels. But really everything else was perfect. Thank you for a memorable stay. Would definitely book again.

Phillip Island getaway

The property was excellent. Could have done with some instructions for the oven/stovetop. we had to Google to find out. Otherwise a lovely well-kept home and garden with walks and bike rides close by.

Bliss few days at Phillip Island..in our beautifully located cottage.

We were made aware promptly by Yenny of an unfortunate cleaner accident which slowed down our checking in till later in the day but this didnt really matter to us, because we were visiting a friend living nearby. It was an excellent, centrally located cottage which had extremely comfortable beds and all that we required including childrens toys for the duration of our stay from the Monday to Friday. And we were out most days visiting Ventnor beach, penguins 1st night, the Koala Conservation Park, Churchill Island twice because it was sooo interesting, Cowes for wonderful walks and gelati and Woolamai for shorebird spotting and wild surf on our way back to Melbourne.

Lovely Stay

This place was ideal for our 4 night stay to go to the World Superbike racing. It had 6 beds which ended being utilised after one daughter decided to meet us there and another that was camping at the track , was rain out. The place had everything we needed apart from a clothes line. Would recommend this place for a stay and would use again if we come back to the island.

Perfect getaway

We enjoyed our stay over the Easter break. The house is well appointed, clean, Comfortable and great for kids. We loved the firepit out the back and the close proximity to everything we needed. We definitely recommend staying here. Thank you David and Yenny.

Perfect getaway

Our little Beach Cottage holds many memories from our family heritage in Scotland, Austria and Norway as well as our adventures across Australia and around the globe. Ventnor is the perfect place to stay on Phillip Island, being only a short drive away from the famous Penguin Parade. Ventnor beach is a short stroll down the road from our house and adjoined to the stunning Red Rocks. Both provide generally calm waters perfect for swimming and paddleboarding.
Ventnor is the quiet neighbour of Phillip Island’s busy centre, Cowes. A short drive and you are right in the heart of shops and restaurants or if you want to self entertain at home, the local milk bar at the service station in Ventnor provides all your essentials less then 5min walk away. Your closest cafe, The Store, provides excellent Brekky, Lunch and coffee, and is a less then 5min drive away.
From May to September, you can discover whales as the migrate past the coast of Phillip Island. The Nobbies, Pyramid Rock and Grossard Point in Ventnor are only 10min drive away and some of the best whale spotting locations in the island.

It provides a fully equipped kitchen, high quality linen and bedding, toys for the little ones and games for the whole family. It has a stunning garden full of native plants with a fire pit to relax and watch the milkyway at night. And a fireplace for a cosy indoor atmosphere.
