If you like to ski, this is the place to be! Heck, with the large deck and windows overlooking the ski trail, if you just like watching people ski, Whitetail Lodge is still a great place to be. This spacious 5 bedroom home offers the super-fun and convenient advantage of a ski in/ski out location. This vacation home might just be the definition of convenient! Whitetail Lodge is slope side on Timberline Mountain’s Winterset Trail. Convenient! Ski all morning then stop back by the house for lunch. Incredibly convenient! Hit the trails for the afternoon and ski back to the house for a delicious homemade meal. Super convenient! Spend the evening gathered around the fireplace with friends. Nice and convenient! Stargaze from the outdoor hot tub and prepare for another day on the mountain. Relaxing and convenient! In every season Whitetail Lodge offers a generous floorplan and easy access to hiking and biking. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was slope side, and convenient to the lift, just be ready to climb on and off the slope. The hot tub never worked, which was a great disappointment as this was one reason we chose this home.Upon arrival we had to call because a toilet didn’t work. It was fixed on the second day of our stay. We appreciated the provided wood for a fire and the giant windows to view skiers going by. There was a light fixture left exposed, holes in two couches, missing fixture covers and broken knives. Many parts of this house could be great, but it needs some repair and maintenance. I would recommend if all was fixed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy check-in and check-out. The house is big with plenty of room for everyone, was clean and right on Winterset trail which is nice. The fireplace and hot tub were a huge plus after a day of skiing. Having some steps built into the small hill or a walkway directly from the nice deck to the trail would've made access much easier, but overall the location and house are great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location for skiing. The house layout works for our group size. Things that needs improvement. The kitchen flooring and into the mudroom needs to be replaced. However, it didn't affect our stay. The sliding glass door that goes to the deck doesn't slide smoothly. You need both hands to open/close it. Again, these are nothing that affected the stay but they should be addressed soon.

Family get away

We stayed here for a long weekend and really enjoyed our time there. The property was as listed and was well stocked. It was quiet and the area beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

Overall, this property had everything we needed for our annual family reunion. There is some wear and tear, but overall did not impact our stay. It was great for kids, pets, and adults. We had a great time in this location. It was walking distance to the ski lift, and we were able to jump on the scenic tour.
