We enjoyed all the snow because it was the perfect place to be. The fireplace and hot tub were favorites for both of us. The driveway was even plowed for us and there was firewood for sale by a local child within walking distance.

The house was perfect! The beds were very comfortable. The heaters and fireplace worked wonderfully. The hot tub was so relaxing and the host very accommodating. We were able to check in an hour early. The house is located to so many trails and the town of davis had wonderful restaurants

Snow Heaven

Great location between Canaan Valley and Blackwater Falls State Park. We arrived and there was about 3' of snow. 4 wheel drive is a must.

Relaxing getaway!

We decided to get away for a few days for my birthday, and this was the perfect spot! The nearby hiking, views and places to eat were fantastic and just as easy to get to. Our 1 year old dog was absolutely exhausted by the time we left for home.

Beautiful View

We stayed here in the middle of an unusual heat wave. The realtor was kind in giving us fans to help out. The place was clean but pesky gnats managed to make their way in every day. I was excited there was a garbage disposal. It was nice that since there was a heat wave there three of the bedrooms were downstairs and a full bath & excellent to have a toilet & sink in laundry room. The hot tub was amazing (although we didn’t need the heat). Beautiful deck & view for evening dining. Close to shopping & dining. Would stay again!

Nice little rustic home

Great location, and views! Enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub a lot. The snow plow came up every day to the front door which helped as we got well over a foot of snow while there.

Wonderful view, fantastic house

The view and location are top notch. Hot tub was very clean, millions of stars to see at night. House was clean, warm and fully stocked. Quiet area, close to many great things to do. Can't wait to come back.

Escape in the mountains

Great little cabin in the mountains. A few minutes from town, a few minutes from several overlooks, and a hot tub with a view. Private, lovely.

Excellent ski vacation

Valley View is perfect for a family ski vacation. Close to Timberline and Canaan Valley-less than ten mins! Two ski shops nearby if you need to rent skis; shop n save close by. The town of Davis is adorable with little restaurants and shops. Our family of two parents and four kids ages 8-17 fit great and the hot tub was a plus (also very clean!)

Fun family getaway

House was in a great location to all of the areas we wanted to see. My kids loved being able to walk across the road and fish in our down time. The hot tub was great after hiking and our family loved the picnic table on the porch for dinner. My only recommendations would be some fans (no a.c. and it was hot on our visit) and some chairs to enjoy the beautiful view.

Family trip to Cannan

Kitchen not clean stove top greasy burner caught on fire from grease. Plates have metal trim not for microwave use. For the price it was disappointing.

Winter break 2023

Looking for a winter getaway away with kids and grandkids and this property was ideal in size and location. A little odor issue upon arrival but diminished as sinks and toilets were used and traps were filled. Fireplace was nice but struggled to get a good “draw” working so abandoned the fires for the remainder of our stay. Hot tub was delightful.

Great base camp to explore the area

Came to ski and had to have a hot tub so this place was the best we found on short notice. Only my wife and I but we enjoyed our stay. Great location right by both ski resorts. Great house for 2 or 3 couples or a family. Town of Davis is only 5 miles away. Area is pretty undeveloped which is fine for us…if you’re expecting nite life there’s not much in the neighborhood except gazing at the star filled sky while in the hot tub. Would rent again

Slope view

Would like to say view from cabin was breath taking. Cleanliness not so much could have used more cleaning. But that we overlooked. Pictures were a little off for the better. But everything was there to make it feel homie. Overall would stay there again.

Very musty

Everything was as listed except the very strong musty smell. We had to wash the bedding ourselves and it still had a musty smell!!! You charged me a lot for cleaning charges I hope you use it for that purpose
