Cottage on the lake! Beautiful 4 bedroom + 3 bath!

Welcome to our gem on Eels Lake! This 4 Bedroom - 3 Bathroom - 2,200 sqft cottage has everything you need to enjoy any season. Fully re-built in 2007, our cottage has the comforts of home without all the city distractions! With plenty of room in the cottage, this lake side property (there are no eels in the lake if you're wondering) is the ideal location to spend time with family and friends! We hope you create lasting memories in our little slice of heaven! (Due to allergies no pets allowed) (Summer bookings require 4 night minimum.)
Our 2,200 sq ft cottage is fully equipped! The Primary bedroom has an en-suite, spectacular view of the lake and a walk-out to private deck to enjoy your own personal serenity. The other 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms have an almost suite like feel with a pocket door to close off 1 bedroom and bathroom and another door closing off the other 2 bedrooms and bathroom.
We have 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, two Double beds, and 4 Single beds.
The kitchen and dining room have everything you need to enjoy those family dinners with vaulted ceiling and tons of lighting with a walk-out to the large deck. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and tons of space for the whole family to enjoy as well as a walk-out to the large deck. The natural light and view throughout this beautiful home makes you feel like you're always outside and in touch with nature. The basement has a laundry room, workshop, and storage room.
Work from the lake? No problem! We're equipped with Starlink (Up to 200 mbs download and 15 MBs upload). There's also a cellphone booster in the living room which provides additional coverage depending on your carrier. Bell and Rogers are the best from experience.
Note:
- AC unit is only for the master bedroom, the other rooms only have fans.
- There is a steep hill, about 150ft, you will need to walk to access the property.
- No linens are provided during your stay, you will need to provide your own.
- Everything you bring in must leave with you (including any garbage/recycling/food produced).
- We use the cottage regularly and have some of our personal items in and around the cottage where we ask you not to touch them.

We stayed here with two families (8 people total, including 4 kids) and had an amazing time. The cottage was spacious, clean, and exactly as listed — plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. The dock was a highlight for us, with lots of fun on the water and even some great fishing! Everything we needed was available, making it a stress-free stay. Highly recommend this spot for families or groups looking for a relaxing and fun cottage experience.

We had a fantastic summer getaway on the lake with a group of friends. Megan & KB were very prompt with their responses, and the accomodation had excellent amenities!

I booked this large house for a family reunion of sorts. There were lots of bedrooms and bathrooms which was perfect, the owner even let us stay three days instead of four which was great and appreciated.Once I booked and paid in full I then found out that linens were NOT included via text. We travelled internationally so the extra 500 on sheets and towels was an unwelcome shock. There were duvets for the beds.Nowhere in the listing did it say anything about the treacherous driveway down to the cabin. I highly recommend if you have bad knees, hips, are unsteady reconsider booking this. The grade on the gravel drive is STEEP. We were provided sleds to take everything up and down the hill but it took forever to bring everything up and down. A good 5 minute truck minimum each way.We got to the cabin and it was hot as we booked for the end of July. The listing said air conditioned but it was NOT. The air conditioning was limited to the upstairs primary bedroom. 0/10. We also had to take all garbage and recycling with us. This was the first time I have ever had to do this. Again travelling internationally this was a huge inconvenience. Owner’s must stay here a lot bc 2/3 of the fridge door was their condiments which we were asked of course not to use. We loved the lake, canoes, paddle boards, water Matt and life jackets. The home was clean and had lots of dishes. Note: the only way to access the lake is via the doc which is steps for entry and only a ladder to exit.

Driveway is eroded and very steep, so there is a up and down the hill hike from the car to the cottage. Other then that, everything was amazing. Definitely the best spot on the lake !!!

Perfect family vacation

Wonderful cottage with plenty or room my family - 6 adults, 2 teens. Stunning lake views, great swimming and water activities. We had the best time.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The hosts were very communicative and friendly. The property was nice and clean and had a gorgeous view. 3 washrooms was a great bonus as well. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The cottage was grand-fathered to be built essentially on the water. You'll feel like your floating on the lake while looking at the living room and master bed room windows. Very spacious and the rooms are well separated if you need some quiet spaces for sleeping. We love the cottage and I'm sure you will too!
