it was a very clean and cute little place. The interior carpet was pretty stained and old. Other than that, they had some cute upgrades. The property itself was very overgrown. You could not sit on the deck because of the amount of bees swarming. Sitting in the corner, where the fire pit was the trees overhead were hanging down and totally infested with bugs the field that showed in the pictures excited us because we have dogs that wanted to play. However, the field was nothing but sandburs and stickers.

We’re sorry the condition of the carpet and outdoor areas didn’t meet expectations. We appreciate you bringing the landscaping, insects, and condition of the field to our attention, as this gives our team an opportunity to review and address these areas. A perfect setting if you're looking for peace and quiet. Interior of the house was clean and well set up. Kitchen was updated and had everything you need. Deck was surrounded by lilac bushes, and it was a lovely spot to read or have a meal. The creek added a relaxing sound. Highly recommended.

The cottage has a great layout. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. The kitchen is gorgeous. The beds are so comfortable, as evidenced by my Oura ring sleep score!! The hosts thought of everything, all the little details were greatly appreciated. I have never seen so many Hummingbirds in one spot. I spent a long time each morning watching and listening to them over coffee and the sunrise. I filmed two 2-minute videos of them at the feeders. I was happy to refill their nectar with what the host provided for them in the fridge. Those hummers emptied their feeder every day! I have visited Leavenworth since I was a child, and brought my son there when he was growing up. This was a decompression visit, and so much better than a tent or hotel room. We had a lovely stay, and I can't recommend this cottage highly enough. If you are on the fence about booking it, jump off and do it!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean, quiet, and perfectly secluded - yet still just a short drive from town. The interior was tastefully decorated and felt cozy and welcoming. We loved the outdoor gas fireplace, it added a warm, relaxing ambiance in the evenings. The hot tub was spotless and worked flawlessly. Highly recommend!
