The cabin was very comfortable and had everything my husband and I needed. Very quiet neighborhood and we had fun fishing on the lake and off the dock despite the lake being pretty green. Not a swimming lake but the fishing was fun. The outdoor seating with the fireplace was our favorite spot to relax. Beds were comfortable, hot tub was nice and clean. Only complaint would be the lack of dishwasher (not a big deal), and the coffeemaker broke and we didn’t hear back from the management team. They had a French press as a back up which worked fine so no biggie. Would definitely stay again and explore some more.
Propane fireplace was lovely, and they provided two full propane bottles (one for fireplace and one for the bbq)

Journey's End Cabin

Great family get away! The view was absolutely stunning. We loved the private dock. We saw so much beautiful wildlife (Eagles, hawks, merganser ducks, geese with goslings, turkey vultures, deer and a surprise visit from a bear). The hot tub was very relaxing. Would definitely book again in the future.

Family visit

My daughter and her husband visited from Indianapolis and wanted to stay "out in the woods". Perfect spot, had a great time, we will be back.

Just as described in add. This place was such a great place. Everything was thought of. Bring your clothes and your food. This place has everthing else. Would highly recommend it to all.

Quiet retreat

Lovely few days spent here watching all the wildlife out on the lake! Close enough to Leavenworth to get into town but was a great getaway.

Beautiful Escape

Relaxing weekend in the mountains with gorgeous lake views! Only complaint was that the towels were so musty and we were afraid to do laundry due to this musty smell potentially getting on our clothes. Otherwise great stay and will return!!!

Nothing better then a cabin in the woods

I really love stay in this beautiful cabin with my family is really clean and amazing place for 4 people the view is gorgeous I really recommend this place for you next visit to Leavenworth everything is close and clean I really loved.

Rustic Tranquillity

There is a very real charm to the rough rustic style of the cabin. Comfortable, clean, and wonderfully peaceful. Stargazing on the dock at night was exquisite. My thanks to the owners.

Wonderful Getaway

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary 5 years ago and decided to return for our 10th this year. We absolutely loved it just as much as the first time! The only negative was the increase in activity with people utilizing the lake and setting off fireworks on NYE, but everything about the cabin and our experience renting it was perfect otherwise. We loved it and hope to come back again in the future.

Very Disappointed

At first sight, it looked abandoned because the weeds in the front yard were 3 feet high and the surrounding houses had manicured lawns. The door to the bedroom would not close all the way. There was no screen on the bedroom window so we couldn’t open it and it didn’t have drapes, so we had to hang a blanket over it. There was mold in the faucet of the bathtub, mold on the shower curtain and the bathroom sink was partially plugged and drained very slowly. The screen for the sliding door to the deck was torn across the bottom and taped together with blue painter’s tape, which didn’t hold up. The light in the kitchen was thick with dust and it was apparent that the whole house had not been dusted for quite some time. Communication was good until we asked about the drapes for the bedroom window and received no response. The condition of the home was not worth what we paid.

Heaven

Our renting process was fabulous. It was very easy and the cabin was a breath of fresh air. The property managers were awesome and on top of all our needs. The only draw back was the mosquitoes. We couldn't go outside after dusk. If we had a heads up about the blood suckeres we could have prepared better. But everything else was pur heaven.

Ice Fishing

We have stayed at this property two years in a row now, we ice fished this year and it was a perfect location for that. Last year we brought the snowmobiles and were just a short drive away so also a perfect location. Super relaxing, will for sure be going again next year.

Snow at the cabin in the woods

We had an amazing time at the lake cabin. The views were beautiful and we really enjoyed our time. The cabin is located just far enough from Leavenworth that you can escape the crowds…yet still go enjoy them as you please. Our first night there was a big storm that passed through and we woke up to 6-8” of perfect snow blanket! The cabin is rustic, but suited our needs.

Amazing Getaway

My wife and I adored this cabin on the lake. The neighborhood is quiet, the cabin is private, and the views are amazing. The stay had everything we needed and the management company was very responsive.

Not worth the money

Check in time was 4:00, and absoultley not earlier. However we could not check in until 5:00 because they had an issue with one of the toilets. There were areas in the cabin that had not been dusted. There was duct tape on the ceiling in the loft to cover holes, and the bed is a queen, not a king. The paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. The binoculars would not focus at all. They need a new pair. The bottom of the screen door was ripped apart. The bottle of soap by the kitchen sink was broken, and under the sink needs some serious replacing. If it wasn't for my husband being there, I wouldn't be able to use the hot tub because it's very heavy to lift & you need long arms to open it from the deck. There was no curtains on the kitchen windows & all other curtains were sheer & you can see through them. It would have been nice to have some ice trays in the freezer, and a saftey bar in the shower. We checked in @ 5:00, stayed the next day, and checked out the next day @ 11:00. We did wash the towels, strip the sheets for them, and washed the dishes as they had asked us to, so I didn't understand the high cost of the cleaning fee. The price was not worth it!!!
