BRING THE DOG! This multi-level, 4-BDRM, 2-bath home is 10 minutes from the airport and ready to host groups of up to 8. Here, there’s no such thing as “too much togetherness!” There’s room to spread out, places to retreat, and separate spaces for a variety of simultaneous activities. The location is ideal, placing you just 20 minutes or less from a long list of the most popular activities and destinations, including the US Air Force Academy. Make the most of your visit to Colorado Springs!

The Space:
Seeing this happy-looking, robin’s egg blue house from the street, you’d never guess there was so much livable space inside. Ah, but looks can be deceiving. This multi-level home gives everyone in your party the comfortable option of hanging out in more than one room of the house, so you’ll never feel overcrowded.

Approaching the home, you’ll note that there’s off-street parking in the driveway and a small wooden deck outside the front door. Inside, you’ll be welcomed by a spacious, airy common room that extends from the front wall of the home to the back, combining the living room and dining areas. You’ll find inviting, casual living room furniture and a dining table with seating for six, plus an additional counter-height table with stools for two. The space is filled with light from a bay window in the front and a sliding glass door at the back leading to the outdoor deck.
The dining room is open to a large, well-equipped kitchen. You’ll find a dishwasher, full-size range, French door refrigerator, two-sided sink, and plenty of cabinet space. Additionally, you’ll enjoy the use of a stocked spice rack, a set of chef’s knives, cooking utensils, a toaster, blender, tea kettle and coffee maker. Make yourself at home!

In the dining area, a partially open wall with a railing lets you look down into the family room one half-level below, providing a sense of shared space without being on top of each other. Adults can relax at the table and keep one eye on the kids downstairs.

Venturing down a short flight of stairs to that family room level, a cozy space awaits with comfortable, casual furniture, a large TV, and a window overlooking the backyard. This is a great space for kids to entertain themselves while adults lounge in the upstairs living room.
Also on the family room level, up to two guests can enjoy a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, large closet and dresser. A full bath on this level includes a shower/tub combo and a large sink vanity.

Don’t like what they’re watching in the family room? No worries. Travel down another half-level to the basement and you’ll find an additional lounge with a sofa and TV, as well as another bedroom with a queen bed and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.

From the ground level, a set of stairs will carry you up to a second floor, where you’ll find sleeping quarters for up to four people, divided between two pleasantly decorated, contemporary bedrooms with queen-size beds. One bedroom is a deluxe suite with a private bath, including a large sink vanity and a shower/tub combo. Both bedrooms provide large closets and drawers for clothing.

When the weather’s right, enjoy grilling and shared meals on the deck where you’ll find an outdoor dining table with seating for 6. The backyard is completely fenced, creating a safe play space for people and pets alike.

The Neighborhood:
Just 10 minutes from Colorado Springs Airport, this lovely home is situated on a quiet residential street in southeast Colorado Springs with every convenience located within easy driving distance. You’ll love the proximity to so many of the region’s most popular attractions, many of which can be reached by car in 20 minutes or less.

The region is a paradise for outdoors enthusiasts, offering opportunities for hiking, hunting, fishing, rafting, ziplining, skiing and more. You’ll have your pick of parks and open spaces to explore. Some of the most popular include Cheyenne Mountain State Park (20 minutes), Red Rock Canyon Open Space (19 minutes), and Bear Creek Regional Park East (18 minutes). The nearest park is the Bluestem Prairie Open Space (8 minutes), a bird-watching paradise on 650 acres of prairie grassland.

Don’t miss some of the most spectacular photo opportunities of a lifetime at the Garden of the Gods Nature Center, home to striking, ancient 300-foot-tall rock formations (22 minutes), and the summit of Pikes Peak (also known as “America’s Mountain”) at a breathtaking elevation of 14,115 feet (worth the drive at 1 hour, 20 minutes).

But you won’t need your hiking boots, skis or waders for every hot spot in the area. Downtown Colorado Springs and the historic neighborhood of Old Colorado City (each about 16 minutes away) offer a tantalizing variety of restaurants, cafes, breweries, wine bars, museums, art galleries, theaters, shops and more.

Getting Around:
We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.

Other Things to Note:
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.
-Central AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summer time, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness.
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out!

This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited

Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests:

- NO SMOKING inside. This includes Colorado’s newest cash crop.
- We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
- Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay.

🐶Dog Policy:
-This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.

- We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs. If we are able to accommodate an early check-in or late check-out, we can do this free of charge. Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early for an early check-in or the day before your departure for a late check-out.

Wonderful Stay
The home was very clean, with lots of space. It was an easy area for us to access everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. The only tiny little complaint was that the bathtubs were draining a little slow, but that is an easy fix. Would highly recommend!

Very nice rental
We enjoyed our stay, the property was very clean and had all the standard amenities. Three living areas were so nice and the beds were comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again on our next visit to Colorado Springs.

Dishes in cabinets were dirty and had to be rewashed by hand as there was no dishwasher soap. No welcome package as we were told there was. No instructions on the TV and remotes were dead as no batteries. Limited towels and 3 wash cloths for 4 adults. Overall the kitchen was filthy the top of the refrigerator looked like it had never been touched. No dishcloths or sponges to clean with.
