No direct access to the backyard for pets but other than that great place and area. Plenty well stocked and spacious.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. We went to zoo, PikesPeak and Garden of the Gods. Home has well equipped kitchen. Basement has pool table and foosball which grandson enjoyed. Also the backyard is great for relaxing and a putting green. Wonderful dinner at Marigolds.

Overall a decent place especially if you need 4 bedrooms. The positives included very comfortable beds, TV’s in every bedroom, a big backyard and plenty of room. We did have an issue with the back yard as it had gaps toward the ground where are Shih Tzu could escape so we covered the gaps. You could only enter the yard by going out the front door so we couldn’t leave our dog there and still keep an eye on her. The primary bedroom was upstairs but no upstairs bathroom. Also 2 bottles of laundry detergent were both empty. Communicating was excellent and location was fine.

There were 7 of us and it accommodated all of our needs. It was quiet and close to many attractions. My only complaint is that the electricity in the living, dining room and kitchen went out along with the internet about an hour before we were supposed to check out. Would stay here again.

Cute house

I was skeptical to stay here after reading the other review- however, at no point did we feel unsafe or uncomfortable! It’s an older house that’s been remodeled and it’s adorable! The neighborhood was just fine and there was a nice family next door as well. Our family really enjoyed our stay!

This home was in the middle of an older area of town with several other homes right next door. There are several things that needed to still be done to this home. Most of the windows needed to be replaced due to rust around them. The one in the shower had rust and mold around it. The grout in the floor of the bathroom was nasty. The floor in the kitchen needs to be finished. There are two small bathrooms here and one is down in a basement or as my son called it the “dungeon”. That is also where the washer and dryer are located. The fridge was all dented up and there is not an ice maker in it. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets were very old along with the cooking pans. The smoke vent in the kitchen looked disgusting over the stove. The beds were very uncomfortable. All the tables in the dining and living area were badly scratched up. All the air vents were very dirty and the thermostat was controlled by someone else, so you had no control over the temperature in the house. . Not what we expected from the photographs. They are very deceiving. When I contacted to rental company they refused to help me find anywhere better and were not nice at all with their response.

Issues such as mold, excessive dirt, or malfunctioning features are not consistent with our standards, and we wish we had been given the opportunity to address these during your stay. As for amenities and furnishings, details such as the absence of an ice maker, older cabinetry, or the layout of the home—including the lower-level bathroom and laundry area—are reflected in the listing and are part of the home’s design. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve both the home and the guest experience.

Stay away from this one.

The pictures were very deceiving as the property was very old and very run down. It was in a horrible neighborhood that my wife did not feel safe staying in, so we did not. Also I booked this because it had a garage and we knew there was going to be weather. It did not say that you couldn't use the garage, and when I called the Denver Collective agent he even admitted it was wrong in the description, but refused to do anything about it. The second words out of his mouth were "you're not going to get a refund". This was our 10th VRBO booking and this is the first time this has happened. Too many people are now doing this with no regard to right and wrong. This may sadly be our last VRBO booking

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this home for five days while getting our vehicle serviced at VW, and we couldn’t have picked a better place! The location was perfect—VW was just a short drive away, and Stuart even made some great friends at B&B's Bunzy’s and Booze, a fantastic pizza bar nearby.One of the best things about this home is its unique layout—it’s not just a standard one-level house. It has depth and character, with an awesome suite in the basement and another above the garage, all seamlessly connected to the main home. This setup would be perfect for families or even an extended family gathering, offering both shared spaces and private retreats.Inside, the home had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was spacious, and the gas stovetop and oven were the best we've used while traveling—we love cooking with gas, and this setup was a dream! The quality of the linens was excellent—some places we’ve stayed had sheets that irritated my skin or created that static spark, but these were soft and comfortable. The lounge area was also incredibly cozy, making it the perfect spot to relax.We happened to visit during one of the coldest days, and it was so nice to have a warm, welcoming space to stay in. The home’s energy was wonderful, and without a doubt, we would stay here again.Rachel from VRC provided excellent communication and assistance, making everything smooth from start to finish. If you're heading to Colorado Springs, we highly recommend this property—quiet neighborhood, inviting atmosphere, and a truly special home.
