Fantastic location, secluded and private, yet close to all of the action.



This 4-bedroom, 4.5 bath home sits on a .82 acre lot offering privacy, yet the convenience and abundance of out the door activities, from winter ski access, to summer hiking and biking, with fall foliage and spring high country activity access. This Ski-In / Ski-Out property offers an ideal mountain home experience via its conveniently located steps from the Teddy's Way ski run and just a quick drive to Town of Mt Village and the free gondola access to Town of Telluride as well as shops, restaurants and other activities.



Craftsman style construction, including stone and cedar siding, and steel accents add warmth to the timber frame construction. The 4000 square foot home includes an open floor plan on the living level, with cathedral ceilings throughout the great room and dining area. The fully equipped country style kitchen, provides an open counter and bar seating, all of which add to the living level room that spills out to an expansive deck with hot tub, dining space and gas grill, all providing amenities and generous space for relaxing with and entertaining your friends and family.



The upper level consists of the primary suite, with spacious closet, huge full bath with jet tub, double vanity, water closet and steam shower as well as a seating area with stone hearth and gas fireplace The comfy tempur-pedic king bed and a private office round out this fantastic suite.



Fine finishes and thoughtful touches throughout the home including pine cabinetry, wood and slate floors, forged steel railings. The ground level consists of the bunk room with private bath as well as one bay available in the two-car heated garage, and a comfortable ski room offers ample storage, a ski boot heater and the convenience of ski access just steps down the driveway.



The great room and all bedrooms are equipped with flat screen smart/wifi TV's. Please note, this home does not have A/C - as is standard here in Telluride.



This is the perfect setting for relaxation and easy year round access to all of the activities!

The house was perfect of us and our family. Well designed and comfortable. Good for our dog, too. The location is amazing. I can't imagine a better spot in Mountain Village. So quiet and private. The property managers were very accommodating.

Remote picturesque setting, convenient ski in/out. Beds comfortable. Could use additional kitchen gear. Only complaint is pathetically aged uncomfortable great room furniture inappropriate and unsuitable for a 6 mil property. Most responsive property manager.

Amazing house right on the slopes

The property was perfect for our stay. We especially made great use of the boot room. True ski in and ski out the property is located right on Teddys Way (easy green with great access to Lifts). The property manager was extremely responsive throughout our stay. The home was well stocked.

Wonderful location

Comfortable and well-equipped home in a beautiful ski area. We enjoyed coming back and relaxing after a long day skiing in powder. Our cooks loved the kitchen amenities. One comment unrelated to house, make sure you order and get 4WD if renting vehicle. We had to argue very hard at Montrose and we were glad we did. 2WD cannot make it up the hill after snow.

Family ski vacation

Great time, great house, clean and well stocked, they thought of everything. The only slight negative is access to the ski trail. You had to climb over the snow bank on the side of the road. There is no cleared path onto the ski trail.

Exceeded Expectations

We booked this property not knowing much about the area. We couldn’t have picked a better spot! House is amazing. Very spacious, well equipped and perfect location for a week of skiing! We were easily able to ski in and ski out, the ski locker and boot dryers were a welcome bonus. The hot tub on the deck was the perfect apres-ski spot. The house has heated floors throughout, a large spacious kitchen that is well equipped with almost anything you’d need. The hosts had many extra touches, from an amazing welcome basket, packed with locally sourced goodies, to shampoo, conditioner and lotion in all the bathrooms. The Dial A Ride service made it so easy for the non-skiers in our group to visit the local market, Mountain Village, and access the gondola to the town of Telluride-which has so many phenomenal shops and restaurants. In fact, the transportation is so easy that you really don’t need a car….but if you do rent a car, a 4-wheel drive is essential in the winter (our front wheel drive minivan could not make it up the snow-covered road and we had to leave it at the mountain village parking). The owners were very responsive to any inquiries we had and the maintenance team showed up promptly for the smallest request. Our families had such a fun and relaxing week and as an added bonus the snow was amazing. As a VRBO owner ourselves, we picked up some great ideas for our place. We’ve rented many VRBOs over the years and this one is in our top 10! Thank you for a memorable trip to Telluride!

Christmas Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Haute House. The location was ideal with ski in and ski out. The market and gondola was a short drive. The house was well appointed with the kitchen fully equipped for all your cooking and baking needs. We ended up with 2 kids on crutches so it was nice having TV's in all the rooms as well as a small den where we set up our son's video games. The large living and dining room where great for family time and we enjoyed the games and puzzles provided by the homeowner. Apres ski we enjoyed the hot tub and a drink while soaking up the scenery. Overall a great Christmas Vacation!

Great house for a large group or family!

Well furnished and well stocked, better than described. Professionally managed and it shows. Great communication all the way. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again. The only comment I would add for potential guests is that having a car is recommended. It’s only about a mile from the gondola and but it’s an uphill climb. We had two cars so no problem for us but not having one would’ve been inconvenient.

Tranquil Setting, Beautiful Sunsets

Very quiet property tucked away at the top (10,500 ft elevation) of Mountain Village, about 5-10 minute drive from the Village Market. Direct western exposure makes for nice summer sunsets on the patio but hot afternoons in the great room and dining area. Most windows lacked screens so constant trade-off between cooling the house and letting mosquitos and moths inside. Comfortable mattresses and well-stocked kitchen. Hot tub did not seem very clean or well-maintained. Nonetheless, an enjoyable stay overall!

Amazing Property!

Fantastic house just a short drive from Mountain Village. Great views from the private hot tub. We had some difficulty lighting gas fireplace and host, Chris, responded immediately to rectify. Just a short walk to and from slopes. Would definitely rent this place again.

Beautiful Home

We had agreat stay at Haute Haus. Very clean, well stocked and organized. Location was nice. Just a short walk across street and we were on the slopes.
