Best little getaway experience

Our family has been vacationing at crestline for years, this homes has been one of the more memorable experiences. It's cozy, cute perfect cabin for family to lounge around and take the view. We will definitely be back to this tree house.

Boho cabin

Lots of stairs, I mean lots , great location quiet and private. Close to the lake and grocery store .Great beds so comfortable. Cell phones cant receive calls or call out. No beach towels, jacuzzi tub didnt work, plus faucet wouldn’t regulate hot n cold waterIn shower its hot or cold not warm.TV is challenging

Fantastic Cabin Experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lovely cabin. The amenities exceeded our expectations. The complementary bottle of wine, and the s'more fixings, were a nice surprise. Communication with the owner was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, lots of amenities, very well stocked on everything you need. Host obviously cares about the needs and enjoyment of the guest. Property lacked nothing, and actually exceeded expectations.

Best 17th birthday celebration!!

My son will never forget his 17th birthday, celebrating with his best buddies at this cute place. Everthing was perfect, clean, very cozy and cute. Close walk to Lake Gregory. I highly and confidently recommend this place to anyone interested in making the sweetest memories. Thank you host!!

Very cozy cabin for a quick weekend getaway. Feels secluded, with views of the pine trees and other mountain trees surrounding the property. The property is built up on a hill, with concrete and wooden stairs leading up to the two entrances. The main bathroom has a deep jacuzzi tub, but the jacuzzi features are not working. Would have been great if they were working to enjoy more. Hopefully this gets repaired soon. But did enjoy a deep soak in the tub. The water took a bit to figure out. The bathroom floors are heated floors also. That was great. Cozy sofas and recliner chair on the main floor, to read or watch TV. There's a fireplace, but we didn't use it. Not sure if it works. Inside, the cabin feels great. There are a few things that need looking after or repair, replacement, like some lamp light bulbs. Outside, there's some TLC needed, but we stayed pretty much inside. We recommend the place. Thank you!

Family get away to the lake

We walked in to a beautiful little cozy home with a bottle of wine and wine glasses, welcoming us😍. It was supplied with everything we needed little items to make s’more’s. A few snacks in the cabinets. The barbecue grill was clean and ready to use the outside patio was clean and so comfortable to sit on all the benches and chairs so inviting inside and out. We had a two year old with us, and I loved that all the gates were able to hug closed for his safety. Even the room downstairs the little gate came with the lock and key which we were so happy about we did not have to worry about our little one falling or getting away from us. All of the amenities that the bottom room had was just above and beyond more than what we expected we had a super super great time there’s really nothing more than we needed. Everything was pretty much there had a great experience and we are definitely definitely coming back. Just a beautiful place inside and out.!!! and the lake being a five minute drive it was just perfect

Everything advertised and more!

This BoHo cabin is everything as advertised and more! I took my best friend here for a 2-night getaway to celebrate her retirement. We had planned on doing a lot of hiking but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. But this little cabin was so comfortable we were able to just spend the time relaxing and celebrating. The property is wonderfully located just a mile from the lake and has everything you will need for a mountain getaway. I was amazed at the amenities the host provided and my girlfriend and I did not want for anything. The outside patio is just as pictured in the photos and the grounds are fun to explore. With both heat and air conditioning we were very comfortable. The two queen beds were very comfortable, and the towels and linens seemed like new. The water pressure was excellent and hot water was plenty. The only thing to note is that the downstairs bedroom is accessible from the inside by a very steep ladder-like spiral staircase so I would be careful about choosing who sleeps down there. Otherwise, there is access from the outside. We did not have a chance to explore the town of Crestline, but we did not feel the need as we were just so cozy in the cabin. And, the owner was very prompt in answering any and all questions I had both before and during our stay.

Comfortable and Relaxing

The only reason to not stay at this wonderful house would be common to all of Crestline, and that is if you have difficulty climbing stairs. Other than that, I cannot think of any other reason to not stay at this absolutely wonderful property, for which I give my highest recommendation. The check-in and check-out instructions were easy. The owner even texted me about an internet outage (which was actually a power outage, probably due to road construction in town). The outside is gorgeous with multiple places to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet along with the many flowers and huge incense cedar trees. The decor is also done in the mountain spirit without being overbearing. If you are out at night, you might even see some raccoons. It was actually my friend who stayed here, and he reported that the main bed was extremely comfortable. The TVs and Wi-Fi worked well, the living room seating was quite comfortable, and there were more things in the kitchen than we could have ever used (and all of good quality, not cheap stuff from a dollar store). There are all sorts of things to look at inside to enhance the experience, and many notes around to help you find things. I truly could write much more detail because there were so many things to notice about this house. I compliment this owner for going the extra mile to assure that a visitor in this home has the best possible mountain experience.

Comfort amongst the trees

Upon arrival at this cabin, my ladyfriend and I were surprised but delighted to see that the hillside and cabin were nicely decorated for Halloween and the Autumn season. After entering, everything appeared clean and neat. In addition to the mountain themed decorations throughout, we found more seasonal decorations and a variety of goodies waiting to welcome us for our stay. Overall, inside and out, the decorations and finishing touches were very tastefully done and the furnishings were quite comfortable. There are big trees (and a few healthy-looking squirrels) on and surrounding the property so it was peaceful to sit outside and listen to the wind blowing through the treetops. Everywhere we went in Crestline, we were greeted with friendly faces. We visited the Market at Lake Gregory on Friday evening where we met several local artisans and craftspeople. It's a seasonal event and that was one of the last for the year. Lake Arrowhead for the Arrowhead Queen lake tour (highly recommended), more shopping, and eating is a short drive away. We also walked the trail around Heaps Peak Arboretum, near Lake Arrowhead, which was educational as well as healthful. The less you need to carry up the stairs to the cabin, the better, but you really won't need to bring much, the place is so well appointed. We're both seniors and thought the reward of enjoying these beautiful accommodations and their surroundings were well worth the effort of climbing the stairs! We can't thank our host enough for his special attention to our questions and for our gifts. He made us feel comfortable and welcome!

Fall Get Away Perfection

I had the privilege of spending a weekend with my daughter at this beautiful property. We arrived to a wonderfully welcoming, Halloween-decorated home and quickly settled in. The Boho cabin offered many fun spaces to appreciate the quiet and outdoors. We took full advantage of each one - morning coffee in the Adirondack chairs, afternoon snacks and reading under the trees on the front deck, and quiet time of reflection on the garden bench on the hillside. The kitchen was perfect for easy meal preparation, providing essentials and space to create a homemade favorite casserole. The living room couches beckoned rejuvenation and reconnection with my daughter’s choice of movie each evening, although our favorite source of entertainment was grey squirrel watching! I would highly recommend this oasis of natural beauty for an easy, quick, and convenient get away to the woods!

Cozy and Welcoming!

What a wonderful, accommodating, and welcoming home! The multi-leveled and the variety of outdoor sitting areas were fun to experience the fresh air and mountain scenery... and the inside had absolutely everything we could possibly need for a perfect weekend away. Thanks especially to the host for the special touches- like the kit to make s'mores and the fresh grocery essentials! I highly, highly recommend this home- we had a such a lovely weekend!

Super cozy and welcoming

I stayed here with my husband and 10 year old daughter and it was everything we could have hoped for. Excellent location. Extremely clean and stocked with everything we needed (we brought food, but they left snacks and some staples in the fridge too!). Not only did they have all the condiments and snacks we could have wanted, they left personalized touches for my family: a handwritten note to us with a welcome, supplies for s'mores (my daughter's favorite thing!), and they left little welcome gifts for all three of us. I instantly felt welcomed and at home. There are several places to sit outside and enjoy the views and sounds of nature, which is what we did when we were there. It's only about 1/2 mile drive to lake Gregory and a little bit further from some great hiking spots (we walked the lake Gregory trail and did the heart rock trail the second day). We will absolutely be back and next time for longer than just the weekend. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING

The cabin is absolutely amazing! I’ve rented other cabins and this one is my absolute favorite. We will definitely be coming back to this one. It had so many personal touches that it definitely made us feel welcome and at home. The entire place was clean and in order. There was not one thing that was missed or that we would have changed. This place is a 10 out of 10.
