Starting September 6, 2025, Pirate`s Cay Indoor Waterpark will be open Saturdays and Sundays only.

Saturdays (12p-8p) and Sundays (10a-6p) for the season.

Situated in Sheridan and within 37 km of Raging Waves Waterpark, Holiday Inn Club Vacations Fox River Resort at Sheridan features barbecue facilities, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children`s playground. The property has a seasonal outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub and tennis court.

All guest rooms in the hotel are equipped with a coffee machine. Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, the rooms at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Fox River Resort at Sheridan have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and certain rooms have a balcony. Great condo option for families.

Plenty to do at the resort for a few days(mini golf, arcade, pool, and water Park. Not much in the immediate area. Drive to a grocery store was about 15-20 min. Great 2 bedroom and a nice kitchen. We drove in to Chicago two days, it was just over an hour. The only thing we wished was that the hot tub was open during the winter/early spring, and that the water park had extended hours for spring break. They did this for one week. But it didn't align with our stay.

Get away means get away

Peaceful, relaxing place to get away from it all, and I mean all. The location is out in the middle of nowhere, but that doesn't mean "roughing it." Beautiful location along the Fox River, countryside, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped with even a fast wifi. This was a great choice for what I wanted - a retreat.
