The lovely guesthouse was clean & quiet. It was easy to get in touch with Julie & she left some little treats for us when we arrived. The property was close to shops & the water. We had a very restful time away.

Great little place.

Short 1 night stay. Very cosy little place with everything you need. Little treats thrown in and Julie was kind enough to give the kids some Easter eggs. Short walk to lake and shops . Beds were comfy also. Thanks.

Short last minute accommodation

This was a stopover in our way further north. The accommodation was so lovely we would have been happy to stay longer! Very welcoming with extra little touches, very comfortable with everything we needed and more. Easy access, great communication and a beautiful setting. A wonderful find!

Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Host very easy to communicate with. Accommodation above all expectations, tastefully appointed, everything catered for. Loved the king size bed! Will be back for the next dance comp.

Beautiful property. Better than photos. Located on gorgeous lake in Budgewoi. Walking distance to local restaurant. Thoughtful additions by hosts (chocolates and juice). We were only there for one night before a local trail running event, but wished we had booked for longer. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic start of the year

The property is perfect for small family. It has all the basic appliances and utensils. Quiet location, near from beaches and shops this cozy place is a gem. My little enjoyed little treats 🍫left 😊. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

Beyond our expectations

The Lakehouse is the first and only place that has surprised us with all the little details to make our stay most comfortable. The place is cosy, quiet, warm, sparkling clean and conveniently located right next to a walking/cycling track on the peaceful lakeshore. We had nice bike rides both in the morning and evening. We were also lucky to stay on a clear new moon night and we could actually see some falling stars from the balcony! My pre-teen sons are undoubtedly most impressed with their stay. Who would have thought of leaving some chocolate and juice boxes to make them feel welcome? Apparently Julie and Richard did :)

AMAZING

Have stayed at many of these types of accommodations in this area and others, but all I can say is WOW, Julie and Lemmon are exceptional hosts, they have thought of everything including chocolate and desert in the freezer, will definitely be back.
