Great little property

Was a good little place to stay. Supplied towels and bedding, which has been an issue at other places we have stayed at Lorne, so that was great. It can be tricky to find as the property is not on the road listed on the site, but a side street. The only thing we found annoying about the property was the noise. The floorboards are thin and we heard everything was the occupants who stayed above us.

Great spot but beware!

The property is lovely. Clean and seemed newly renovated. The first night was great but then people moved in to the upstairs apartment. Sigh! Absolutely no insulation between the top and bottom apartment and we could hear every movement, speaking, kids running around etc. The family were not being noisy, just going about their day and we could hear every movement and noise. Really disappointing when we wanted an early (quiet) night in. I could only imagine what it would be like if there was music etc. Again disappointing as the unit itself is great!

everything was fine except for one thing, there is no soundproofing from the upper floor, so the neighbors from above did not let us sleep, music, TV until one in the morning, it was very unpleasant. Thank you

Relaxing central beach house

House was lovely, spacious with good facilities. Just a 5 min walk uphill from the Lorne theatre.

Good location

Close to beach & shopping strip, which was the best thing. The unit is dark and the bathroom is ridiculously small. Noise from tenants in unit above made our last few days unpleasant when we were inside. Our teens enjoyed their time away but have requested that we not stay here again. I think it was overpriced for what it was.

Everything was perfect and as expected. We brought our 19m.old English staffy and he enjoyed the journey with us because of this l9vely place. Only minor issue was the upstairs making noise till late sometimes. With our children it was a bit tiring. But wasn't always...

Not what I thought it would be

It’s deceiving with the pictures. The dwelling is downstairs underneath an upstairs residence. You can hear everything. It is dark, cleanish, still had cobwebs everywhere and old soap and a hair tie on the shower shelf. There was a small hole in the toilet wall just filled with toilet paper? Not worth over $400 a night, maybe $250 at best. Very close to the Main Street which was great.

Clean, cosy and close.

This property was all we needed. Whilst the overall property was different to what I envisaged in my mind, the pictures were still accurate. Very clean and tidy and in a great location. Not very big but big enough for a mum, dad, 16, 13 and 10 year old and a Jack Russell. Bathroom really, really small but you make do. We were all happy with our time at this property. More and bigger coffee mugs would be handy!

Fantastic location.

Close to the main strip. Great size bedrooms and living area. Bathroom may be a little tight. But fantastic value for money. Easy booking process. We will be back.

Comfortable, clean and convenient

Overall this property was in a great location, rooms nice and big, clean and exactly what we needed for a short stay to get to and from the beach and shops for a big lifesaving comp. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to be within easy walking distance. Only thing was, I think the listing mentioned there was a dryer, however, there was only a washing machine. This would have been handy with a rather damp and humid weekend and 6 of us. Correct me if I am wrong! Good value overall. Thanks for having us.

Hidden Gem

Great location, walking distance to beach, shops and walking tracks. Plenty of space in general (the bathroom was tiny) spacious bedroom with BIRs. And felt very welcomed.
