We had a great Christmas at the Bluffton Getaway. We appreciated the tasteful decorations for the season. The property was perfect for me, my son and our dog. There were plenty of extras that were unexpected and very useful... the big dog water bowl in the backyard, the laundry detergent, plenty of paper towels, etc. We had SO MUCH room plus the wonderful backyard. I look forward to staying there again!

Great Place, Very Clean, and Very Accommodating

We had a great stay! Everything was as advertised in the listing. The place was easy to get to and in a nice neighborhood. Upon arrival, the entire house was exceptionally clean. There were plenty of household supplies, and the fenced in backyard and covered patio worked great with our dogs. Also, the community pool is just a short drive and is very accessible. We have already talked about staying here again.

House is adorable! The neighborhood is well established and quiet. I stayed almost a month waiting for closing on my house. I especially enjoyed the patio and my dog enjoyed chasing anoles!

Bluffton vacation home

Perfect location for us to take our day trips. Quiet. with lots of amenities. Completely equipped with everything we needed and more! Loved the neighborhood pool, multiple TVs, and ceiling fans kept us comfortably. The patio area and gas grill were great and the enclosed and private backyard were great for our 3 dogs. This was the best VBRO by far.

Comfortable first visit to Bluffton

This cozy house was clean and well equipped. The fenced, grassy back yard was perfect for playing ball with our dogs. The streets are a bit narrow and there are no sidewalks, but we still enjoyed walking the dogs all around the safe neighborhood. The location was great for getting groceries, taking a tour of Burnt Church Distillery, taking a hike at the Pinckney Island Wildlife Preserve, and getting to Old Town Bluffton.

Just what we wanted

Were in town for a college graduation. We had previously lived on Hilton Head Island for 40 years so knew the area and didn't really need to see any of the things Bluffton and the surrounding area had to offer. The house was close to the graduation. Had a fantastic outdoor space although we did not get to enjoy it much since we were constantly visiting with family and friends. It was just the size we needed. We would stay again if we ever come back to the area to visit.

Quaint & Comfy

Everything we needed and more! LOVED everything about the home, the yard, supplies, cleanliness and the owner was wonderful too! If there was one negative it would be all the vehicles that park on the street. Very narrow street as is and made walking our pet difficult and getting in and out of the driveway somewhat frustrating at times but the owner can’t control that. All the neighbors were very friendly though, just have too many cars!

Ruined Stay

We received a text message from Maria whilst enroute on the day of checkin warning us of a strong smell from a recently painted garage floor and that the garage door would be left open. This was not the case. On arrival we opened the door to be overwhelmed by a very strong odor which was coming from the attached garage which had a fan running. We opened up all the doors and windows and ventilated the property and remained outside. As we had plans that evening we left the property in the thought that ventilating the property would help dissipate the paint smell. On returning the next morning we found the situation to be the same and contacted Maria to advise her of the situation. As she was out of town she said she did not know what she could do but offered to refund our money for the rental. We contacted Evolve and advised them we had vacated the property and a refund was received. This property should not have been rented as the garage floor paint was giving off a toxic odor which could have been a health hazard. This resulted in a ruined stay.

Beautiful house!

The house is absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. I especially loved the patio and hammock. I was thankful to find a pet friendly place for my doggie to have the fenced yard to run around.
