Awenda Provincial Park offers several beaches with a stunning, natural swimming opportunity, kilometers of trails for snowshoeing, hiking, and cross country skiing. Camping is also available. Take on many kilometers of park roads for beginners or advanced cyclists.
The North Simcoe Rail Trail is a 30 km long rail-trail runs from south to north skirts the famous Minesing Swamp, passes by historic Fort Willow, then through the Mayer's Marsh, farm land and forests. Hikers, cyclists, horseback riders, cross country skiers and snowmobilers are allowed on the trail.

SIGHTSEEING
Penetanguishene or "Penetang" is famous for having one of the most beautiful and protected harbours, and known as a haven for boating. Discovery Harbour is a picturesque site and historic park located in Penetanguishene. This site provides with many family fun.
Midland has all amenities, harbour views, and restaurants along the water. Nice for shopping in the winter.
Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre and Tiny Marsh are located in the heart of Midland.
