Pointbreak Studio

About this space
We are new to this website as of January 2022 but have been hosting guests and have a super host status on another booking site for many years.

Beachfront studio( standalone) situated in front of a surf break in Te Awanga. We have just completely renovated upstairs mid October 22.
An open plan studio with decks both sides, the kitchen kitchen is new and has a full oven , gas hob, rangehood, F&P dishdraw, microwave etc , also a Nespresso coffee machine , webber bbq on the seaside deck, all linen supplied is including dressing gowns to laze on the deck and take in the sunrise. A heatpump and new smart TV complete the package along with free wifi.
Separate bathroom below accessed from outside.( for your own private use only)
We are situated a quick walk to wineries, a bike hire is near by, and safe swimming opposite along with surfing and fishing .
We are situated on the cycle track .
If you are looking for a private and relaxing space in front of the ocean, close to local amenities with the added bonus of fabulous views put this on your must stay list.
The space
Unobstructed views of the ocean, option of an additional outdoor hot shower in the garden to rinse off after a swim or surf in the ocean should you like to use it .

Guest access
Parking is roadside by the pond opposite .

Other things to note
The bathroom is at the bottom of the stairs and access is external. Stairs to the studio are reasonably steep and may not suit someone with hip or knee issues. We haven't had people have issues with this over the years but want to make sure it isn't an issue for you , we want nothing more than for you to be happy with your stay.
Please note we have a security camera operating this covers our main entrance and garage and this is purely for security . There is no cameras inside dwellings.

Lovely spot, we had a fabulous, relaxing week here. The bed and amenities were perfect and very comfortable, and there was no problem with the bathroom being downstairs. Our small furry host was delightful and very welcoming. The coffee shop around the corner is a great spot for a chat, the last salted caramel biscuits are AMAZING and the coffee was excellent (even for a couple of Wellington coffee snobs). It's walking distance to Clearview Winery (where we had a great lunch) and the departure point for the gannet tours. 100% recommend this place.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was beautifully renovated, amazing view and had everything we needed. It's a great location, you can cycle to the local cafes and vineyards.

Cozy and comfortable accommodation

Pointbreak studio is a fantastic little spot, perfect for 1 or 2 people. It provided me with everything i needed for the couple of days I spent in Te Awanga. Great views, and a lovely welcoming atmosphere.

Perfect

This is an amazing place to stay. Great views, short walk to beach. Close to winery's. The owners were great, friendly and helpful. I truly recommend this place. Will look at staying again sometime.

Gorgeous spot

What a great spot for a weekend getaway! It's right by the beach and has a deck with fabulous views to enjoy meals and cuppas' by. We often visit Napier but wanted something different. This was perfect and we never even set foot in Napier, but instead explored the scenery further afield. We only wish our weekend had been longer! Thank you.

Lovely place for a short stay

Lovely place and location, nice to also get a sea view and great deck for extra space. Bathroom is located downstairs from main living ( exterior) but this is mentioned on the owners brief and the bathroom is lovely and clean and has everything you need - nice to have great shower pressure and a hairdryer! 👍😊

A perfect little getaway

We loved this little place, set in green surroundings so lush and fresh. Loved the friendly dog too. The view is awesome. The look and feel of the studio is homely, warm and welcoming. Walked in to beautiful ambience. Good dishes, Cutlery and appliances. And a lovely host. We'll be back.

Comfortable and relaxing

Perfect spot to catch the sun, watch the view, the ocean and the sunsets. Comfortable and clean little hideaway. Owners are very accommodating and helpful with local knowledge and happy to assist with anything you may need. We will definitely stay again. Gets our 5 stars. Thank you Bron and Tanz
