We had an excellent weekend at this property. Its on a small, beautiful, quiet and motor free lake. Everything about the property and communications with the host were great. Highly recommend!

Excellent Victoria Day weekend stay.

Our group of 7 had a great stay at the cottage . Everything from rooms, kitchen , washrooms were good! We look forward to return back for another stay!

The property description matched exactly reality, and thensome. Excellent place for relaxing, very clean, convenient location, and the host was always very attentive.

Beautiful Cabin and great fishing!

Very nice and comfortable accommodations. Everything you need to enjoy your stay, and the views of the lake are beautiful. The fishing was great too! The owners were very easy to reach and very responsive to our needs. I would definitely stay there again!

Our Cousin trip

The place was beautiful nice lake. Just needs a bigger coffee maker. Everything was really nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely lovely! Peaceful, amazing location on an ideal lake. The cottage had everything we needed and was super clean. Lots of outdoor activities available too. A simply divine vacation.

Beautiful cottage! Wonderful amenities.Exactly as described with all the modern conveniences you would want in your own home on a quiet little lake. Fun fishing for bass off the dock Cold water ( spring fed?) which we expected having stayed one lake over for 4 summers but refreshing. Beautiful dock, air hockey, TV, internet, terrific HVAC system. Firepit, BBQ , bathtub, showers. comfortable beds, kitchen appliances, water purifier.... the list goes on! Close to Huntsville for day trip and Kearney for basic supplies.And get up early to spot deer across from the dock! We will book again. Julius was a terrific host ( nice welcoming basket) and we communicated well with few glitches

so peaceful

A beautiful cottage with no one around :) so peaceful and clean and lots to do on the property and a gorgeous lake .Had a wonderful time !!! Highly recommend !!

Lovely inFall

We came for Thanksgiving and hoped to see beautiful leaves. It was a delightful cozy cottage, perfect for any season. Everything was in working condition, clean and fantastic. We hope to visit again some day in future!

Perfect Winter Get Away

This is place is great for three couples looking for a winter get away. Accommodation were exactly as described and extremely clean. Beautiful view of the lake. Very quiet and private. 20 minute drive from Arrowhead Provincial Park, where we would go everyday to ski, skate and snowshoe. Thank you Julius

Perfect Mother's Day Weekend

The cottage is a gem in the middle of the Muskokas. It was well taken care of, communication with the owner was great and he answered all our questions/concerns. Everything was clean and there was an assortment of boating/outdoor gear available for use, including a BBQ. Our kids particularly enjoyed using the paddle board. We'll definitely consider booking this place again in the near future.

Peaceful

Very private, well-equipped 2-storey cottage on a small quiet lake with a nearby walking trail through some pretty wetlands. We enjoyed swimming & paddleboarding. Canoe, kayak and pedalboard also available. Decks off master bedroom & main floor overlook lake. A very relaxing get-away to catch up with family or friends. Owner is very accessible.

Beautiful for a fall getaway

We stayed for only a snowy fall weekend. The cottage is nestled in a forested area on a lake. The view of the lake from the cottage is exactly as pictured and is beautiful. The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. However, be aware that the tap water is not potable so you'll need to bring your own drinking water. The indoor entertainment options included a TV area with a good-size TV and a number of streaming services. The only issue we had with the property was that we were met with an overwhelming smell of naphthalene (moth balls) when we arrived. This smell lingered for most of the weekend despite our attempts to air it out. Overall we had a great time.

Thanks for the review Mary. The tap water is actually potable. It's filtered with UV and safe. But as it's common with cottages, the water is taken from the lake, and we suggest guests to bring drinking water. We also provide purified drinking water at the property. We did put some month balls the prevent bugs from coming in in the fall. We will remove them soon. Thanks for staying.

Beautiful and peaceful spot, with all the amenities. We enjoyed the watercraft supplied, and the view in the bay. Our host was quick to respond to all questions and enquiries. Everything was clean and well stocked with necessities for a weeks vacation.

Cozy cottage to enjoy the Fall season

This is truly an amazing cottage. It has all the amenities of home but better. The lake view from the deck was spectacular with all the colors of fall. The location was in close proximity to Algonquin park which we did visit for some hikes and Huntsville was only 20 minutes away. I would recommend this cottage for families and friends to gather and make everlasting memories.

Loved our stay!

This cottage was perfect for our group. With three couples and a baby, we had plenty of room without feeling like we were on top of each other. The cottage itself was very clean and had everything that we needed. The property is very private as well. We also loved having the water toys (paddle boards, peddle boat, canoe, and kayak) available to us. Julius was a very accommodating host and always responded promptly to any questions. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed just a few days at this lovely cottage. Exceptionally clean which was great. Had pretty much everything that was needed. Modern and well-kept. Excellent communication from owner when/if needed. Nice quite, private location.

Awesome place for a family vacation!

Serene Bay is a great cottage that is well laid out, spacious, nicely decorated and extremely clean. We loved the fact that sheets and towels are included so no need to bring your own which saves time and space in the car! The owners think of all the touches including a very nice welcome basket. We would highly recommend this cottage.
