Raglan Escape: Unique holiday home right in the heart of Raglan

Raglan Escape is perfect at any time of year for family holidays, that all important weekend with the girls - or just a couple looking for a quiet weekend. Soak to your hearts content in the generous size bathtub (the infinity hot water means you will not run out of water). The 3 bedrooms sleep up to 9 people:: 2 rooms with a Queen bed each and the large 'bunk room' contains a King bed, a single bed and a double. bed. All linens and towels supplied (including beach towels).

Recently renovated, (inside and out) Raglan Escape offers everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable break whatever the weather. The super efficient log fire heats the whole house in the winter, and the indoor and outdoor flow to the large deck is just right for watching the beautiful Raglan sunset.

Owner lives in a house on the same property, available for any assistance you may need. Please respect our lovely neighbours, no loud music or parties please.

Right in the heart of Raglan this unique bach is only one minute to cafes, shopping and the best coffee in New Zealand - plus only 3 minutes walk to the harbour beach. What more could you want.

Fully fenced section with carport and off street parking completes the offer at Raglan Retreat.

NOTE: There is no television at Raglan Escape, plenty of books to read for your relaxing stay though.

IMPORTANT: If you have an EV, the public charger is on Bow Street beside the Community Centre. Please do NOT charge from any of the outlets on the property as they are not designed for this purpose. Thank you

Fabulous location and house, walking distance to town and wharf. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend. What a treat with the fire as it warmed the whole place. It was so lovely, clean and the feather pillows and beds were super comfortable. The sun drenched deck was inviting. We really enjoyed the local coffee and citrus treats. The owners were so thoughtful and welcoming (especially with milk in the fridge) and made the weekend so special. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Thanks

The Perfect Place!

Linda was incredible. The home was stunning, clean, modern, and extremely well stocked. Fruit trees surrounded the home that is literally a 30 second walk to the main street. Very safe and beautiful.

Fabulous stay in the heart of Raglan

We stayed as a family group and we were all blown away by how beautiful the property was. It was sparkling clean and so close to the centre of town. It’s a real gem. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. The big deck at the front is perfect for enjoying time together. 10/10!

Winter Raglan warmth

Fire was lit prior to us arriving and what a joy that was to step out of the wind and rain into a warm cosy cottage! Lovely open spaces, calming light filled and cleverly renovated cottage. Beds are comfy, place was very clean and host was absolutely lovely. We’d come again for sure and would highly recommend!

Hello We enjoyed the house when we got there. YOur team did not advise us on the day or before the address of the property or how to access it. We were lucky that local people helped us to find the owners. They were delightlful and they let us into the property and gave us a key. The only other disappointment was there was no TV for watching. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Family getaway

Weekend away for the entire family… teenage kids, grandparents all included for a great weekend of food, wine and exploring. Fantastic location, and lots of great areas to relax. Amazing accomodation, great hosts… will definitely visit again.

Beautifully presented home close to Raglan town

We had a lovely stay in this property with our two teenage children. Beautifully presented property with all the amenities you require for a relaxing break, the deck is amazing! Thoughtful touches by our hosts including milk in the fridge and lovely citrus from the trees on the property in the fruit bowl. Very short walk into Raglan for morning coffee and dinners out etc although the property also has all you need for cooking if you choose to stay in. Will definitely keep this property in mind for future trips to Raglan!

If I could give more stars I would. 10/10

This property is absolutely stunning and renovated to perfection. The outdoor living is a continuation of the warm and cozy inside. Its a 2 min walk to the township and wonderful coffee. Im very fussy when it comes to cleanliness often staying in hotels where there is always somthing not to standard. This property was faultless!! Linda and John were the perfect hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. They had loaded the fireplace with wood should we need it, fresh locally sourced fruit on the bench and were so lovely and welcoming. Dont think twice about booking this lovely home.
