'Little Metung Hideaway' is a fully renovated home that is perfect for a relaxing break with amazing views and is only a short walk to Chinamans Creek & the Bancroft Bay Boardwalk or a 5 minute drive to the Metung Hot Springs.
Little Metung Hideaway is nestled at the top of a valley where the bush meets the Gippsland Lakes! With great views across the valley above Chinaman's Creek to farmland from the deck, this beautiful hideaway offers 3 bedrooms, living area and fully self-contained kitchen. Utilise the large wood-fired pizza oven beside the outdoor alfresco area and enjoy the atmosphere of sitting around the wood-fired chiminea. Sit around the brick-paved fire pit, toast some marshmallows, and take in the beautiful valley views.
Available is a large private parking area to allow for boats or more than one car.

We had a lovely stay, the accommodation was clean & neat, however, the photos on the website were misleading as the lower patio / fire pit area was overgrown with weeds & in need of some structural restoration. The garden could also do with a bit of TLC

Fantastic getaway

Absolutely stunning house with lovely rooms and a fantastic fire pit. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze, and the gardens were simply amazing. We particularly loved the little garden statues and the outdoor fire pit where we enjoyed a couple of delightful breakfasts cooked on the BBQ. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bird feeder attracted beautiful rosellas, king parrots, and some magpies. The décor was lovely, and the living area was very comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The specialty teas were a lovely touch. We had everything we needed for a fantastic getaway

Impressed from arrival

Impressed from the moment we arrived. Home away from home with all the comforts we needed. Well presented property with a lovely view. We loved watching the various native birds visiting the bird feeder. Perfect for our relaxing weekend away. Thank you.
