Captain Henry’s in Ormond Beach

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife and 2 sons. Nicely decorated, 3 private rooms and 77 steps from the beach. We greatly enjoyed our time and will look forward to staying here again.

Amazing!!!

Great place to stay very beautiful short drive from daytona and alot of places to eat, drive on beach nearby it was really an amazing time!!! The manager was also great with staying in touch and very polite and respectful.

We loved staying at the Bungalow! It is so close to the ocean! It was clean and welcoming! The beds are very comfortable and they are very responsive if needed! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful bungalow. We will be back!

very close to the ocean for daily walks; very quiet neighbourhood; good amenities (toilet paper, paper towels, some spices, coffee filters, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, wifi/internet - we felt secure and comfortable being here!

Cute little bungalow

This bungalow was perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Just steps from the beach (which is very secluded compared to other beaches). The location of the property is perfect, walking distance from Publix and Dunkin’. The property manager was very attentive and helpful! We will definitely stay again. On a side note - try out Lagerheads Bar and Grill! 7 minute drive from the bungalow and is a wonderful place to eat!

Charming and great location

We had a great three week stay in this very cosy beach cottage with lots of natural light!The main bedroom where we slept has a very comfortable bed and it has the only closet available. Hence not alot of space for clothes but with a little organizational skill, that was no issue! Bathroom is clean and shower just perfect! Kitchen is minimal but perfect for breakfast and lunch. As for dinner, we mostly ate out but did enjoy a few pasta nights at the cottage. As for the host, Angie is simply the best! Great place to enjoy the beach!

We had to clean the place upon arrival. The floors were dirty with dirt and sand. We went out to buy a sheet to drape over the couch. With a beat-up queen-size bed in the bedroom, it was as cramped as a prison cell. Though access and proximity to the beach was great!

Great experience

This was a very quaint little bungalow. Although on the smaller size, it was a very clean and comfy place to stay. We ate out mostly, but if you plan on cooking there, note there is no oven. There is a good range top however, which was nice for breakfast every day. If you plan on cooking more than we did (ate out a lot, great places to eat in the area) plan on bring a few home cooking items. Some chef's knives were needed, but we got by without. There was only one decent frying pan but was enough for our needs. I was able to cast my tablet to the TV, so there was no need to login to everything if you want to watch TV at all. The walk to the beach was easy and quick and was sparsely populated, so nice for a little privacy. I will be staying here again if the opportunity arises. Enjoyed our stay!

Awesome little place

This is a very nice little bungalow. It was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is a bit small with no oven, but a good range for cooking and a full-size refrigerator. There is a microwave and a good toaster oven (we did not use but is there). This was very nice as many places I have stayed had a half size fridge. There are many great places to eat in the area, including a Dunkin Donuts right across the street. I do recommend Riptides for a great meal at very good prices. The beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. The beach was sparsely populated, even on the weekends it was not very crowded. Although we did not watch much TV, there is a nice Visio 50" (?) that I was able to cast my Fire Tablet to, so there was no need to login in to all my apps just to watch anything. We really enjoyed our stay here and will come back again sometime.

Listing is inaccurate, does not sleep 4 unless you use an air mattress

We arrived about 30 minutes after check-in. The cleaning crew was just finishing up. Ok, not a big deal, they were running late. When we got inside we saw there were only 2 beds, a queen and a twin. The listing says a queen and two twins for beds. I texted the manager, who was responsive but insisted that an air mattress counted as the 3rd bed. We went back and forth and I was sent a screen shot of a listing that came from somewhere that did indicate the correct number and type of beds. I don't know where that listing came from but it certainly wasn't on this site. They later apologized "if" the Vrbo listing was wrong. But, as of this review they still haven't corrected the listing. Accomodations were nice enough, the location was great. But had we known we would need to set up an air mattress to sleep 4, we would have stayed elsewhere. Also...plan to wait 3 weeks until you get your damage deposit back.

This is a cute little bungalow. Needs a little more sleeping accommodations and an oven or toaster oven would be nice. Walk to the beach is a little longer than I like but I liked the privacy on the beach. I would stay here again but with just two people

Excellent Property!

Really nice house that was steps from the beach! The privacy of your own home and mere steps from the beach. It was awesome to take maybe 40 steps and be on the beach. House was very clean. Much more room than you would pay for a similar condo, plus as I said before, complete privacy!

Great Vacation but too short

Very good and cozy Everything was in its place and we lacked nothing to spend a very good vacation. Just a comment. Threats for loss or damage to things do not help create a comfortable environment for customers. I understand that we are responsible for any damage or loss but threatening to charge $60 for a plastic container or $25 for a stained towel does not help the customer want to return. It is just an advice . The customer is more important than a few dollars.
