We loved the house!! We are a logging and firewood family and this was absolutely welcoming to us!! My husband and son inspected all the wood work!! Has a rustic and elegant feeling!!! Will definitely stay again ❤️

Relaxation Station!!

This property was just what me and my friends needed in order to get away from the city life. Everything was super clean and tons of on site entertainment for us. Will definitely be booking again!

Weekend Getaway

We rented this for a weekend getaway for my friend’s birthday. It was so cozy and although we brought some of our own games, they had so many games, movies and books to offer as well. There were so many little details which were well thought out and showed the owners really care about making it a safe and relationship fostering environment. Would definitely stay here again!

Just what we needed

This was an amazing place. We arrived during a blizzard so visibility was low and the roads were formidable but once we got close to the home, it was lit up like a fairytale. My family was enchanted and my quickly-bored teenage son even asked if we could just stay there and chill. We'll be back for sure. Love this place!

Family Reunion

We stayed at Rose Valley because we had a family reunion nearby. The home was beautiful and well equipped with all our needs including a pack n play for our granddaughter which came in handy. The owner has done a remarkable job making this home feel like you are in your home away from home. We absolutely recommend this vacation rental. Thank you to the owner for all the extra touches.

A place to stay for Peak n Peak ski trip.

The house was immaculate. So clean and cozy. The coffee selection was impressive. We ate at Ashley’s pub about 6 minutes away then ordered pizza from there the next night. We made breakfast both mornings and the kitchen has everything you need. I feel so lucky to have found this place for our family getaway. Would love to visit again in the summer to try out the kayaks. Just book it!!

Peekn’Peak ski trip

The house was awesome and one of the most well equipped we’ve ever stayed at. The little details made our stay even more special. Great family fun playing games and hanging out. So many videos and games to play, comfy blankets/beds/pillows and different coffees. Definitely everyone who stays in the winter should have 4wheel drive. The house was also very dog friendly with Dog bed and dishes. Highly recommend this house!

Lots of room

This was the perfect house for my 2 grandsons, my daughter & me and for my sister to visit along with her 4 daughters & grandchildren to visit. We played games, went for walks in woods & did some crafts, clay & canvas painting. The dining room table fit our bunch perfectly for us all to do crafts together. So much fun!!

Amazing

The home and property are 5 stars. The home is more beautiful than the pictures. The property has a spectaular grove area with a horse shoe pit and volley ball net. There is a stream, also. Quiet all around. This home is equipped with everything one would need. Lots of little welcoming touches. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home. We appreciated the welcome gifts! My grandson loved the stream and found many interesting animals. The highlight fo him was finding a newt!

Feels like home

We travel often and always opt for rental houses over hotels. I can honestly say this is our favorite place we've stayed. It didn't feel at all like a rental house, it felt like we were staying in someone's home. Everything was immaculate, and the hosts went above and beyond to provide everything you could possibly need. It is kid friendly, which we really appreciated, including a baby gate to block the basement stairs and even had a safety rail to put on the loft bed which we were very happy to find. They also cater to the adults with a fully stocked coffee bar (my favorite part!). The workmanship of the wood details inside the house were so neat to look at, and the property is beautiful. My kids loved going for a walk in the woods and playing by the creek, we even saw a couple salamanders. The location is so peaceful, only had a handful of vehicles pass by in the 4 days we were there, and one Amish buggy (which was fun for the kids). The host was so accommodating and kind. We will definitely be planning another trip back there!

Accurate listing, lovely property

Our group was in town for a wedding and renting this property was a cheaper and more pleasant experience than everyone getting hotel rooms. We were all impressed by how lovely the location was and found the pictures online to be perfectly accurate. The grounds are extensive with lots to do and we all wished that we'd had more time to spend there since we were often off site for wedding activities. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There's also some very basic spices on hand. If you have a large group, you will have enough plates/bowls/cups for a meal, but will need to either wash them between meals or switch to disposable ones. The cabin comes with plenty of towels and bedding, so no need to worry about any of that even if you usually use extra blankets. There's also shampoo and conditioner on hand if you forget yours or don't mind using whatever brand is on hand. All in all, it was a great experience and I would stay here again. It's a great location for adult groups or families. Some minor notes for those looking to come here: 1. This area of the country has limited cell service, so be sure to check if your carrier covers it or else you'll be left with no gps and no way to call for help in an emergency. We had plenty of working phones, so this was not an issue for us, but several of our group members were unable to use their phones during the entire trip. 2. The cabin has a decent board game selection to choose from, but if you're a board-game enthusiast, then you'll probably want to bring some games with you as you'll likely be disappointed by the lack of more popular gaming community titles (no Catan or anything like that, just classics like phase 10, clue, and apples-to-apples). That's not a complaint, the selection is fine! I'm just married to a board-game lover and the topic came up, so I wanted to mention it since the game-room pictures don't really show you what the games are, just that they're there. 3. You're probably not coming here too watch movies, but there is a TV with limited movie options available. If you're planning for what to do on a rainy day and movies is on the list, I'd suggest bringing some favorites along if you're picky about what you watch.

Peaceful retreat - did not disappoint!

The glossy photos on the website did not oversell the property - it was every bit as beautiful and peaceful as listed. The hosts have done an excellent job thoughtfully stocking the place with all the essentials, plus some things that you might discover you need/want but didn't think to pack. We especially enjoyed the covered porch - the perfect spot for morning coffee, rain or shine.

Absolutely gorgeous

This is the nicest place I have ever stayed in. Everything is rustic and handmade in the house. Beautifully decorated inside and out. The scenery is so peaceful, a perfect place to getaway from the noise. The host provides so much. From condiments to plenty of chairs, cornhole, badminton and horseshoes. It’s is the true getaway camp feel.

stunning and peaceful

This house is perfection! Host went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect and restful. The detail of the home is stunning. The property is large and there was a lot to explore and see in nature. Our kids loved playing in the creek and the family room with games. The home was perfect for our large family. The host thought through and made the stay more than comfortable!
