Quiet location

We enjoyed the spacious 2bedroom, 2 bathroom home in a great location. Well stocked kitchen and large beautiful bathrooms. It's a very comfortable house for having relatives visit.

Very comfortable home in convienentt location

Very nice little cottage in convenient location to local towns and colleges. Note the address is incorrect on the listing but is just one house off so it's easy to find. Very clean and comfortable.

I’ll definitely be coming back again!

The Hurley Retreat was perfect for our weekend visit to Kingston. The home was clean, well appointed and exactly as described. I can’t think of anything I’d recommend, as you’ve done a great job making your guests feel at home. Convenient to town, and main thruways for exploring. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Kingston this winter.

Immaculate and Convenient

We very much enjoyed staying at this beautifully renovated and updated farmhouse. It was immaculate, every room was well-stocked (especially the kitchen), the room AC units kept it cool during those 93 degree days, and it is well-located just outside historic uptown Kingston. You can tell the owners take pride in their place. Thank you!!

Great getaway

We had a great visit staying at the property. Our only complaints were that the lockbox was in an awkward place and the numbers were hard to read. And the table in the kitchen kept slidong open making it difficult to eat atvthe table. The place was unique and lovely

Perfect home away from home

We stayed in this home for 3 weeks and it was the perfect home away from home. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had space for our family to visit for family meals and room for our granddaughter to run around the yard and play at the small playground at the church next door. There is private space for setting up a computer to work if necessary. The home is close to the rail trail in Hurley and to the track at Dietz stadium in Kingston. The hosts could not be nicer and more accommodating. This is one of the best rental homes we have ever visited.

Recommendations

The house is nice and clean. However, it has no cable and anyone who wants to cook, I am sure would like to see a better selection of pots and pans. Also, the air conditioners do not cool the rooms during hot days that we stayed there.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they would like to share the following: -"We are pleased to provide high-speed Internet access on our property. The majority of our guests arrive with their personal devices, such as phones and tablets, and often bring their own subscription services like YouTube TV and Roku. These devices can seamlessly connect to our two large in-house screens, allowing for group viewing. Additionally, we are currently exploring the possibility of adding a basic broadcast or streaming TV service for your added convenience. -We would like to inform you that we have recently added a new set of cooking pots, roasting pans, and baking pans to enhance your culinary experience. -Based on feedback from previous guests, the air conditioning has proven to be more than sufficient even during the hottest summer days. We want to ensure your comfort, so we'll be checking the filters and functioning of the A/C units before the next summer season. It's worth noting that our A/C units have an "Eco" mode, and guests may not be aware that there's also a "full power" mode available. Our commitment is to create the best possible stays, and we look forward to hosting more satisfied guests as demonstrated in our other reviews."

Thanksgiving with Family

The location was great . House had Plenty of room. And clean. They do not have cable so have to have a subscription to something on Roku. That was our only negative . Great kitchen area to interact with people in living room. Very quite we really enjoyed our stay there and would defiantly recommend and rerun .
