Nice but far from Tallahassee

We enjoyed the house just fine. It was just much farther from the college than I expected. The window a/c units made it difficult for me to sleep through the night. Felt like the neighbor's home was right on top of ours. Curtains on the porch may help.

Nice getaway

Property just as listing describes. Very clean. Peaceful property. Only downfall is the bright lights from the neighbors upstairs when trying to enjoy the porch at night. Definitely would stay again!

A sister getaway

The enclosed back sunroom was a wonderful great room to enjoy the lake view. The home had very comfortable furniture including the bed. Pictures do it justice. Not far from all the sights in Tallahassee. We would definitely be return customers.

Cozy bungalow

We stay in the Lake Talquin area frequently. This was our first time at this property. It was very clean and smelled nice and fresh. The bed was very soft. If you need a firm bed this is not the place for you. We arrived at at night. It was very dark and raining. There were no lights on and that made it difficult to see the driveway and determine where the entrance door was - not by the driveway. Once we made it inside we could tell it had just been remodeled. It is very nice but only had basic supplies. Considering we were only staying for a weekend it had everything we needed. The driveway is steep but paved so we didn’t have any issues.

Cozy Lake House

Cozy place with modern upgrades. The guys enjoyed fishing before and after the Florida State game.

Cheap and uncomfortable

First thing is the lack of WiFi. Secondly the cold water knob in the shower was stripped out. Third was the dock which was in complete disrepair, do not walk on dock after dark. As you may die.

New rental. Pros and Cons

Great view, nice interior. Assume they will improve on the following areas… Driveway very steep and not wide..need to advise in Advance. TV was internet only, although they had a DISH outside. . Only had Netflixin LR and TV in Bedroom did not work…screen was messed up Dock photo is misleading..the left half is the property, the right half is neighbors.. that half is a mess.. broken down and parts falling in water. We did catch two catfish ! Bathroom, toilet seat loose, faucet loose. nice decor and clean Kitchen..the entire right side of the sink, electric did not work .. not able to use dishwasher or microwave. . Limited dish-ware….4 of each item… kitchen utensils were flimsy, as were the toaster, coffee maker. Will not last long. Owner advise more glasses will be provided. Dining table was sturdy and big. Family of 6 for dinner had plenty of space. Spacious and comfortable…., but the necessities were lacking….always wish the best for the owners….hope they can do a few upgrades to improve.
