Enjoy your stay on the family farm in our new 1 bedroom suite with a private entrance. Kitchenette/living room and master bedroom with private ensuite.

Includes 2 TVS, WIFI, streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and Crave TV.

Located in sunny Saseenos with Galloping Goose regional trail bordering the property and conveniently located off main highway with a gas station/convenience store/country market and bus stop across the street.
Connect with nature while having quick access town.
Although not noted, washer and dryer use can be arranged on stays of 1 week or longer.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was conveniently located to drive to different parts of the island. There were many small touches added that made it feel like home such as a night light. Kitchen was well stocked. There was a book with helpful information and we were provided with our entry code well in advance of arrival. We would stay again when visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was very clean and comfortable. They even had a pack and play for our baby which saved us from having to bring our own. We definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area!

We had a wonderful stay. Derek and his partner were very friendly and helpful. The property was beautifully landscaped and the accommodations were clean and included all the basics and a few extras for us to enjoy our stay! Will recommend to friends and will plan to spend some more time here again in the future.

Farm Stay Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our time at Farm Stay. We were not around much, really only to sleep and have breakfast since we were touring the Sooke area and trying to fit everything we wanted to see into our 2 nights. However, the accommodation was excellent! Nothing to complain about and Derek has thought of all the little things that make it that much better. Ie: USB plugs bedside, coffee, condiments and chocolates available, nice bed linens and towels, lovely dishware etc. The location is very convenient for visiting areas of Sooke and the nature! Since we were not on site much, we didn’t get the experience meeting the animals which I would have loved! Well done Derek!

Beautiful property and home!

Beautiful property, friendly homeowners and barn cats :) quiet, clean, and well-stocked suite with everything we needed! Was excited to meet the goat in the pictures, but unfortunately they were away! was happy to see the baby chickens though!

The property was compact, quiet and clean with modern decor. The listing says that it is 1 bedroom and sleeps 4. We were 2 guests and it was a snug stay but I suspect that four guests could feel really cramped in this property. Not a complaint, just my opinion on what was advertised. Close to amenities and a lovely farm setting.

A little Slice of Paradise

Super clean, tastefully decorated, very comfortable bed. Access to Gallopping Goose Trail, close to the water, close to several good paces to eat. Our first VRBO experience and it was great

An absolute 10/10 experience, a beautiful little farm surrounding a comfortable and cozy place to stay! Across the road there are valuable amenities to buy fresh produce and treats, with the Stickleback bar and grill ~500m away. Far enough out of Sooke to avoid traffic but close enough that its hardly anything to get there, would recommend to anyone for a home away from home or a staging area for the great nature surrounding them!

Sooke Getaway

We wanted to come up to Sooke for a quick getaway and a little biking on the Galloping Goose and we couldn't have picked a better spot. Comfortable bed, hot shower, cold AC. what else do you need. It was convenient to everything but also out of the bustle of downtown.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We offer a unique experience of both being rural, yet quick access to all the amenities of city life.
Our property borders the Galloping Goose Regional linear trail, which is well know for mountain biking, walking and horseback riding.
This is a working hobby farm, and great opportunity to see some small farm animals and consume farm fresh produce and eggs. If you are here at the right time in spring, you may be lucky enough to enjoy some of the baby farm animals.
