Romantic Getaway

I stayed with my significant other for a Valentines Day getaway and it was lovely, the location is excellent right in the middle of town and the stay itself was lovely

Clean, comfortable, unusual

The property is clean and charming. No parking but easy to find places on the street for free. Charleigh (caretaker) is very helpful and prompt with responses. A charming small town with easily accessible amenities. Highly recommend!

The area was hot and stuffy. The airconditioner leaked copious amounts of water. The window in the main bedroom would not close. I mentioned all this to Allen who did nothing to rectify the issues. His response to the bedroom window was 'at least there are no bugs flying around this time of year'. There were numerous dead flies on the tv room floor. The bedside lamps did not work. The overhead light was the only light available in the bedroom. There were 40 stairs o climb to get to the third floor. This little gem was not mentioned in the advertisement. Allen's comment was...'I hope you are spry'. I would definitely not recommend this particular accommodation.

Usually you are in a bed and breakfast to be able to enoy this kind of property. Location location, which is central to all there is to see and do in the beautiful Queens County area.
