The Space:
The property is consisted of 2 bedrooms. The master with a Queen bed and the second bedroom with 2 singles beds.

With an open plan kitchen & lounge flowing to the outdoor courtyard area you can sit back and soak in the surrounding swhile enjoying a complimentary bottle of Tasmanian wine.

A cosy electric flame fireplace in the lounge will keep you warm during the cooler months. The open living / dining area is a wonderful eclectic mix of Danish Scandi style meets French Provisional with a touches that are uniquely Australian.

The solid brick 1940’s construction, beautiful timber doors and architraves and new double glazing of doors and windows provide the total comfortable, cosy and convenient destination for your next trip to Hobart.

Netflix in available on the TV in the lounge area, along with unlimited WiFi.

The “Astera” apartment in on the ground floor with a walk ramp from the car park down to the courtyard outside the apartment. One step is needed to step into this ground floor apartment.

This apartment can sleep up to 4 people.

The Neighborhood:
Considered the most central suburb in Hobart, New Town is perfectly positioned to be conveniently located for travel to the world renowned museum MONA in the north and Bruny Island in the south. The apartment is within walking distance to the Hobart CBD and historic Salamanca and waterfront. There is an awesome Supermarket/grocer called Hill St Store only a few minutes’ walk away.

Getting Around:
Apartment is close to public transport and a short cab / Uber ride to city.

Other Things to Note:
* The property has external security cameras that monitor the entrance of each apartment.

* Weather - Hobart is a wonderful place to live and the locals often experience 4 seasons in one day. During winter our climate can get down to 0 Celsius at night and have maximum of 10 degrees or below during the day. In summer our temperatures can reach 37 degrees Celsius and our high UV ratings can be very hot. High UV readings are more important than temperature and lots of sunscreen, sunglasses and sunhats are required.

A brisk winter morning that is 2 degrees with crisp blue skies is very invigorating but warm clothes, hats,boots and gloves are needed to enjoy the freshness in the air.

To get maximum enjoyment from visiting our beautiful city, please be mindful of the season's weather during your stay and bring appropriate clothing to be comfortable.

* Water Australia is a dry continent and water is very precious. At times we may be subject to water restrictions. Hobart fortunately has a climate where we do not often have to worry about water consumption. Our water from the tap is some of the best in the world and can be drunk without any health concerns.

* Keeping warm at night. Electric blankets have been supplied for all beds. There is a switch next to each bed that enables you to warm up your bed to your preferred comfort level. The blankets can be left on whilst you sleep but most people find it sufficient to heat the bed so it is lovely warm to slide into at night. Bring warm pyjamas and socks and when snuggling under the duck down doonas ...a good night sleeps should be yours.
