Family Style Home 5 minutes from the Gaslight District!

We opened our two newly renovated bungalows in 2018 with the idea of giving people an escape to nature while still being able to enjoy refined and elegant settings.
Since then we have welcomed hundreds of guests while they enjoy their family time, wedding celebrations or other events.
With the success of Hilltop and Cedar-side House, we are restoring three additional homes on the same property.
We will be able to welcome up to 26 guests by fall 2023.

Please note: Hilltop House is located off a private road with a steep hill. It is ploughed regularly during the winter season but tends to be slippery. We recommend arriving in an all-wheel drive vehicle.

This cosy farmhouse is nothing short but an unforgettable experience. The interior of Cedar-side House is newly renovated to capture the intimate stay you will experience.

Cedar-side House showcases an open-concept kitchen equipped with all your desires and needs. We have made sure to include small and large appliances, and all utensils needed to enjoy a delicious pasta dinner or steak on the barbecue.

Along with the kitchen, the house has a well-appointed living room. The room is flooded with natural lighting with books to read and candles to light during a relaxed evening.

There are two private bedrooms fitted with queen-size mattresses and a three-piece washroom equipped with fresh towels and soaps.

Our secluded back deck is designed to be enjoyed all months of the year. It has tasteful lounging furniture with a gas BBQ to help finish off an amazing day with an even better meal. To the right of the deck, there is a fire pit surrounded by Muskoka chairs for those cooler evenings.

We proudly offer a variety of fresh organic produce that we grow 200 ft from the property itself. Along with this are our grass-fed beef, pork and water buffalo. Please message us for more information or questions you have about our menu!

Lastly, the house is just minutes from a 1000 acre Conservation, RARE. Its groomed hiking and biking trails will leave you wanting one more minute amongst nature.

WHAT WE OFFER:

PRIVATE YOGA SESSIONS:
From May - October we are excited to welcome guests to book a backyard yoga class with Kim Jones, a life coach and yogi who has been teaching for over 12 years.
Matts are included during the session. If you have your own let us know!
Each class is 1 hour long and welcomes 4 or more people.
$20 per person. A minimum of $80 is needed to book.

Upon your arrival, your chosen package will be displayed on the kitchen island ready to enjoy. Pre-book a package when booking to enhance your stay at Hilltop house.

PICNIC AT THE MANOR:
During the months of May - October we welcome guests to book our intimate picnic experience located on the front lawn of our historic European-styled manor.
Picnics are held for 3- hours and include a seasonal charcuterie board, welcome drinks, and more!

FARM TOURS:
When staying at Hilltop House we offer a farm tour that ranges from 1.5-2 hours. Guided by Farmer Jan, you will walk around our 100+ acres of field and forest where you will see crops, pasture, ponds and animals - and how they all interact and connect with each other. Throughout this tour, you will experience how your food is grown and raised and how our land is managed.
$60 per tour

Farm Tours will run rain or shine!
Please meet your tour guide outside your Airbnb house a few minutes before the tour begins. If you are late, your tour will have to be cut short!
