Great stay

Great stay

We had a lovely stay, the location was great just outside of Forster. The host was quick to respond to questions and check in process was easy. The accomodation was clean and peaceful. Would recommend it for anyone visiting Forster or the nearby areas.

Stay with Nature!

A-mazing!!

Mark is an amazing host, always accommodating and so very friendly. The property is absolutely beautiful, it is an oasis in a stunning and quiet area. Minutes from town, we love it and will keep coming back!

Beautiful little escape

We had a lovely 3 days or so here and enjoyed the quiet, serenity and convenience of this little cottage. Just the break we needed and Mark our host was very accommodating and kind. Loved being close to beaches and the pool was also handy on a hot day. Will be back hopefully!

Oasis in the bush near enough to beaches

Mark is a wonderful host and we so enjoyed this clean and unique property. Exclusive use of the pool and the bush setting with bird song was just what we needed. It is close enough to shops and downtown Forster but far enough in higher bush area to be a total break. We could not recommend this property more highly. We will be back!

Peaceful, Relaxing, Quiet

This accomodation is a very private area, close to beaches, fishing, shops. It felt like you were out in the bush. Very relaxing. The host was lovely and very accomodating. Excellent communication. We will be back !!

I’ve stayed at Mark’s property a number of times now, my go to when in Forster. Very comfortable, quiet and Mark is an excellent host. He is friendly, responsive and genuinely provides a homely property. Thanks again Mark. Well of course be back.

One night stay

We visited Forster to visit a friend of my mothers who was unwell. The accomodation was quiet, private and relaxing. Mark was a wonderful host and left us a great bottle of red and some snacks. The communication with the host was quick and easy. Thoroughly recommend this property.

Highly recommend

Brilliant location backing on to a national park. Quiet, secluded and really peaceful. Nothing better than coming back after all day at the beach and jumping straight into the pool - with a drink or two! Neat little cottage, very comfortable with everything you need. The host, Mark, was welcoming and unobtrusive. I recommend this to anyone looking to get away from it all.

Would love to return

Great host. Fast responses to communication. A few provisions left for us making it a great welcome. Useful to have washing machine. Nice pool area. Secluded area. You do need a car to get around. Would thoroughly recommend.

A hidden oasis

We had a fabulous overnight stay in the cottage on Mark’s property. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and Mark had kindly left us a bottle of wine to enjoy. The cottage backed onto the National Park, so it was lovely to watch the bush turkeys gobble around during our morning coffee. Mark couldn’t have been nicer and was super helpful with directions and tips for finding the best beaches and bakeries in Forster. Next time we’ll stay longer so we can make use of the pool.

Amazing Amazing Amazing

We had an absolutely amazing time away. The property is gorgeous and the photos don’t do it justice. It’s a little slice of heaven, peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of town. The shops are a quick 5 minute drive, the beaches are close, there’s a gorgeous lookout and National park tracks nearby as well. Mark is the best host I’ve encountered, he went above and beyond making sure my daughter and I were settled in and checked if we needed anything and even asked if it was okay if he did some yard work during our stay - of course it was okay! I definitely recommend staying here and I will definitely be coming back up!

Relaxing, Tranquil, Perfect!

From the start Mark was an absolute legend of a host, so friendly, so accommodating, and so generous! It was unfortunate with work commitments that we only got to stay at the property for one night, but what an amazing 24hrs. We enjoyed the pool area, the afternoon sun was brilliant in the lounge chairs with a drink in hand, the firepit at night and the kitchen had everything we needed! The property was clean and tidy and the location was perfect for those who love the sound of nothing but the wind in the trees and the sounds of nature. It felt like we were in an oasis. We will definately be back and booking regularly for our meet in the middle catchups with our friends from Sydney. Thank you Mark and family :)

A relaxed setting

I was so pleased that I secured a booking here as it was a great location only a short distance from town. It had a tranquil vibe and we felt incredibly welcomed by our host Mark who clearly cares about his visitors by providing excellent communication & valued tips on potential things of interest to do in the area. He was an absolute gem of a man & he’s created a comfortable space for 2 people, a family or 2 couples to enjoy. His dedication to ensuring people feel at home here extended to him providing some extremely thoughtful treats which was highly unexpected yet truly appreciated. Such a special touch! The bed was very comfortable with quality bedding & the kitchen amenities were great. There was good hot shower too. Having the availability of an outdoor fire pit area with bench seats to sit on amidst the natural surroundings was a bonus & although I didn’t get time to venture into the pool it was gorgeous & set in a large relaxation zone. Brilliant! Although the lodgings are beside the host’s residence it felt very private & it was a good fit for us being not in the thick of town as the sound of birds in the area were a welcomed thing that adding to the serenity of this place.
