We are a family of allergy’s, highly allergic of cats.
At some point we believe there must of been a cat in the house. We all suffered within 10 mins of being in the house.
On the description of the house there wasn’t mentioned about a cat, so maybe the last guest had a cat and house wasn’t cleaned well enough, we did see cat hair on the kitchen chair and under the table when the light was shining in, also on one spot of the couch.
If they have a cat it should be mentioned in the description, if not the cleaners need to do a more thorough cleaning.
Our health started of not good but, we all carry our medication and inhaler . So as long as we used our meds we were fine and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We were able to chat with the owner of the house and she is delightfully sweet and an inspiration to ours.
I would definitely rent this more again, great stay for a family/ friend retreat
