Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Scenic views from every deck or window you look out, a quiet hideaway allowing you to unwind and reconnect. Nature and Australian bush all around you including native wildlife, kangaroos, finches, kookaburras, maybe even a koala or two as well as a herd of droughtmaster cattle grazing.
Just over an hour from Brisbane and 10mins from Boonah, the 100yr old workers cottage has been newly renovated throughout. With luxury finishes and quality Miele appliances, you will be totally relaxed in this bushland hideaway. During your stay spend time in the scenic rim with all it has to offer: local wineries and breweries; nature walks; the local towns of Boonah and Mt Alford, Kalbar; Moogerah and Maroon Dams; Summerland Camel Farm; Goat Farm; Ipswich; amazing restaurants and cafes including the Kooroomba Vineyard & Lavender Farm which is just down the road, The Bowl Boonah, Blume, The Story Tree cafe, & Scenic Rim Brewery.

Cute cottage with spectacular views

Bronwyn was a very helpful and pleasant host.The cottage is cute and very well appointed with great appliances and the fire pit and views were stunning and very relaxing. Access to the property was interesting, but Bronwyn’s detailed Instructions were valued.

Country Cottage

The property is just lovely and lived up to expectations. My husband enjoyed his bath on the veranda. The driveway was in good repair for a rural property and easy to navigate once you have done the drive. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well appointed just be aware there is no microwave. Beautiful location 5min from the vineyard/lavendar farm. As there is no internet it was nice to spend family time maybe as an option a TV with DVD player would be a nice addition. Take your own DVDs but there were lots of games supplied. Will be returning

We chose this luxurious cottage for a special Mother's Day getaway, and it exceeded all our expectations. Accompanied by my wife and three kids, we were all captivated by the charm and comfort of this retreat. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with top-notch amenities and impeccable cleanliness. The cottage was not only well-equipped with everything we needed but also exuded a cozy ambiance that made us feel right at home. The outdoor area, complete with a fire pit, was a highlight, especially during the chilly evenings, while the chimney added an extra touch of warmth. Surrounded by pristine landscapes, the cottage offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We even had the pleasure of spotting kangaroos on our way in, much to the delight of the kids. Conveniently located near wineries and a brewery, we indulged in some incredible food and drinks during our stay. Additionally, the short drive to Boonah provided us with ample opportunities for exploration. The thoughtful gestures from the host, including local produce gifts and entertaining games for the kids, added a special touch to our experience. It's safe to say that our stay was nothing short of memorable, and we're already planning our return visit. Thank you for a truly unforgettable getaway!

Beautiful Location

We had a lovely stay, the house it beautifully decorated, was super well equipped and clean. Stunning views too. We were very disappointed in the lack of air con as we stayed in 38 degree heat and there was literally no escape from the heat. We were also only told after booking and on the day before we were heading there that the property didn't have a TV or WiFi either. I think all of this needs specifying in the listing so people can make their own decisions about whether this is the type of holiday they want.

A lovely, well-appointed cottage

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here - the cottage is well presented, with many modern amenities and amazing views. Was a wonderful relaxing stay

Stunning property in a gorgeous quiet location. The cottage is spotlessly clean, and so much attention to detail with what is provided. The outdoor games were a huge hit for us, and the outdoor fire pit. Would highly recommend.
