Macatawa Hills Lake Michigan Beachfront

Beautiful gem of a vacation cottage just steps from Lake Michigan in the private association of Macatawa Hills. Two floors of open space easily accommodate your group of seven with an open floor plan and deck with views of Lake Michigan. Tastefully decorated with a beach theme the calm colors lend to the airy feel of this home.

Master bedroom has queen bed, twin bedroom is great for kids with bunkbed and additional guest room also offers a queen bed. Two full baths and laundry add to the amenities. Deck off living area has gas grill and is designed for family meals while enjoying the view of Lake Michigan. Step outside and take a short walk down the hill directly to beach access (no stairs!).

LOCATION
Lake Macatawa and Eldeans shipyard are just a short drive as well as award winning downtown Holland where you will find a variety of shopping dining and activities. Rent bikes, paddle boards and kayaks right at the entrance to the community and enjoy a day paddling on Lake Macatawa or take advantage of the bike paths along South Shore Drive. Still time to plan your perfect summer getaway!

PARKING
Parking is limited to three vehicles in front of the home.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancel within 48 hours of making your reservation at no charge.
- Cancel 30 days or more in advance, and receive a full refund.
- Cancel 14 days in advance, and receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds for cancellations less than 14 days in advance of reservation start date.

There are no refunds for early departures, reduction of nights rented, or delayed arrivals due to inclement weather or any other factor. Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment.

MANAGEMENT
This property is managed locally by BVW Unsalted Vacations Property Management in Holland, MI. We provide all professionally laundered linens, bath and beach towels and a starter supply of paper and cleaning products along with emergency maintenance services. All BVW Unsalted Vacations rentals follow local and state tax rules. Your reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, and a Damage Protection policy.

Please note that all guests are required to sign a rental agreement within 48 hours of making their reservation. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the reservation. Thank you for your cooperation!

Beautiful views

The house was so cute and very clean and the view of the lake and sunsets from the patio was amazing. The kitchen was a good size and very well stocked. The beds were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were updated and a good size.

The house was lovely

We had a great time at this house! The view of the lake was beautiful, and the house was clean. We decided this was actually one of the nicest/cleanest places we have ever stayed. We also loved that one of the rooms had a bunk bed with an additional day bed and a trundle. It was the perfect spot for all of the kids to sleep. The rental was also close to several public beaches and to downtown Holland which was cute and had lots of great places to eat. We also enjoyed walking along the beach right outside the house. I highly recommend this rental! The location was lovely and the house was great.

We were delighted when we arrived and saw the fabulous view from the deck. Short walk to the beach. Well stocked kitchen, no need to bring anything. Very clean and comfortable beds.

Great spot on the lake with beach access! Kitchen was well equipped for lots of cooking at home and used the grill as well. Close to downtown Holland, parks and shopping/dining. In a nice, gated community.

Very comfortable house. Loved the back porch and sunset views. Beds were comfortable. It felt like home away from home with magazines, books even binoculars available.

Nice house, comforts of home

Great house. Kitchen had all the amenities! The drive up once you go through the gate was a little scary at first, but we got the hang of it. The upstairs is a bit warm without oscillating fans. The house had 2 but could use one more for the 3rd bedroom. Also if we could recycle that would have reduced our garbage by 50%. It also wasn't clear that there was a private beach for us to use. I thought it was just the stairs down to the shoreline. But no there is an actual beach a short walk away. Really enjoyed our stay. Would do it again for sure.

Perfect Macatawa Rental

Great Lake Michigan view! The house was in great shape and very well stocked with towels and supplies. Everything about it was as advertised. We lost power due to storms, and Susan, the property manager, was very communicative and helpful, sending ice, water and flashlights. We’d definitely would stay there again.

Quiet lake getaway

Wonderful lake view! Safe gated neighborhood, although please note if you prefer a walking area this would not be for you (no sidewalks, narrow streets and very hilly).

Being on Lake Michigan is just beautiful

The house was perfect for our stay, but the house smelled a little musty upon entering I’m assuming that’s because it’s been closed for the winter. Also the beach needs access due to the erosion from the winter weather and assuming they will make access for the summer months because right now there is quite a drop to get to the beach from the dunes, but waking up to that view is something you can’t miss

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed. Enough supply of linens and towels, comfortable beds, well lit rooms, and a beautiful kitchen with all necessities. The best of all was the large deck facing lake Michigan. We loved having our breakfast on the deck, and sitting there in the evenings enjoying the sunset... The only drawback was lack of telephone reception, so it was not possible to call, but the Wifi worked and we could text or send emails. It would be helpful to have a cell phone number available to text in case of a problem.

Awesome house!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was fully equipped with everything we would need. It has a full kitchen and washer and drier. The bedrooms were the perfect size for our family. It was also in the perfect location. You can not beat the view from the deck. To wake up every morning with the view of the Lake was peaceful and relaxing. There is a path next to the house that will take you to a beach that is very clean and quiet. We were travelling with 2 kids and they loved playing in the sand and water. We loved not having to go far to access it. It is a short drive to downtown Holland which we visited frequently. Since it is in a gated area we felt very secure and safe staying in this house. We would love to stay here again!

A tranquil, relaxing place to stay

This home is so warm and cozy on the inside with a wonderful, rustic fireplace to sit by and enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Michigan. The bedroom I stayed in was comfortable and well sized. The kitchen was also well equipped and the kitchen and dining area give a very cottage feel with great views of the lake. There are 2 bathrooms and they are good sized and very well supplied. There is a big deck that can accommodate a lot of people for entertaining, having a cookout and watching the sunset. There are 2 beach accesses that are close to the home with easy access to the lake. The home was nicely decorated and very clean. My stay was so wonderful and I would definitely stay there again.
