Henry`s Bach is the perfect retreat to bring the family.
Situated 2 km from Taupo CBD it is perfect for all the local eateries, activities and of course the beautiful lake edge.
With a large exterior, bring the whole family to this great home with lots of room for fun.
There are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed with 5 beds and the 4th bedroom has 2 single beds and extra space for the teens to hang out.

Breakfast is not provided.

*Please note that all bedroom an bathroom linen are included in the cleaning rate. You may wish to bring pool /beach towels*
Strictly no parties or gatherings.
Only the maximum number of guests stated on the booking are permitted to stay. If extra guests are found to be at the property they will be asked to leave.
Non compliance of the maximum number of guests or the no party rule may result in eviction without refund.

Family Retreat

We had a fabulous stay. The house is spacious airy and spotless. The bedrooms and kitchen are well set up The grounds provide space to relax and enjoy a meal together and provide privacy.

Beautiful property

Perfect size for large family or with kids, with flexible layout so kids/teens can have their own space. Walkable into town but plenty of parking so everything’s easily accessible by car.

Great place! Larger than you'd think!

This is a perfect base for your stay in Taupo. About a 25-30 minute walk from the downtown commercial district, this home has privacy, on a dead-end street, and almost all the amenities you could ask for. Four bedrooms, a nice backyard area, and a great sitting/common area. Everything you need in the kitchen is there, also! If you're considering a place to stay in Taupo, this is a good choice!

An absolute find!

We stayed over Easter 2023 and couldn’t rate this place enough! It’s super cute; an older 70s brick place that has been tastefully + stylishly updated. Fabulous quiet location but only a short walk into town. Lovely gardens - ideal for kids. Vicky is a fabulous host, couldn’t do enough for us to make sure our stay was a great one. Will be back!

Great location, amazing property

Our family really enjoyed our week at Henry’s Bach. The bedrooms are really well set-up. The beds are very comfortable and linen is great. The kitchen is a little dated but definitely well setup and functional. It is as pictured. Vicky was great to deal with and responded very quickly. She was very helpful when we needed somewhere to store luggage on our last day. Thoroughly recommend Henry’s Bach for a relaxing week in Taupo.

Quiet, clean and comfy

We found this property great for our break, really quiet neighborhood, close to where we needed to be, comfy beds, really clean and tidy, warmed up quickly with the heaters on, lots of space to hang out. The biggest plus was how great Vicky was to deal with, really quick to communicate, really great when our plans had to change, made everything so easy. We would happily stay here again. Thanks
